Well, that's what I was thinking too. My friends ashes were scattered on the track 11 years ago - some opposite the 4th bend where we used to stand and some at the starting gate so they'd be long gone now. As much as I love Speedway it's not something I would choose to happen with mine.

I'm not sure what was said at the time but no doubt someone will remember better than me. I think it was along the lines of a house not being built in that spot which was on the start line. How they'll manage that I don't know but everyone knows what the future plans for the stadium are so they must have taken that into consideration when they wanted Nigel's ashes to be buried there.
