Is Brooks ready on a 500cc?

Surely there’s more improvement in JPB than Bacon?!

With Widman and a 3 pointer back that leaves 5.18 and my choice would be Luke Harris. Though Callum Walker seems to love the island track so it would be good to see him feature.

Seems the promoters weren’t aware though.

Certainly happy with the signing of Ben as he’s a very likeable bloke and is a dependable number 5. Just a 3rd heat leader, second string and junior reserve to find!

Only 2 days ago the league accepted the Bees’ application with the knowledge that he would be at the helm, only for him to almost immediately quit! Surely they should’ve been better informed, so if the promoters don’t know then you can understand why the fans are skeptical.

They get track specialists as guests as both are on high averages and they have a quality bottom end to beat the opposition there. At home, Jenkins will step up and beat heat leaders regularly like he was in the last few meetings anyway.

Unfortunately quite a few top end NL riders seem to be looking for a team place abd the low points limit and less teams won’t help and some of these are also struggling to get a Championship place! Further down, even promising riders like Bowtell are looking for a team! Surely his average is guaranteed to go upwards.

It’s a big ‘if’.

Current average in the regs means achieved this season or last season (so in this sense, it’s ones attained in 2017). This is the exact reason why Jacobs was allowed back in on 8.63 midway in 2016 but had to go to 10.something in 2017 as he didn’t do enough meetings to achieve a figure in 2016.

That looks a play-off side to me. A powerful top 3 at home and at least one very good reserve home or away. But I’ll be surprised if Baseby isn’t in. Anyway the team is signed up so we’ll find out soon enough.

Is it going to be a made up team then like Swindon used this year? A big step down for the club but at least the name isn’t lost again if there’s the potential of a return to league racing.

Brilliant number 1 and a quality team that looks like Belle Vue’s did at the start of this year and we know how that went. It’ll take some stopping.

Rolling averages don’t exist anymore in the top 2 leagues and never did in the NL

Yeah I was talking about his age and said that on my previous post.

He has a current NL average so you use that. You only look to the higher leagues if there isn’t an NL average from 2017.

Seems a bit expensive on that average when he’s never pulled up tress anywhere in England other than Leicester. But fair olay to Workington for explaining his average, unlike some other teams.

Technically. The rule has been relaxed for for a couple of years now though for him, so no reason to think otherwise.

Poor to see the riders forced out by the rules, rather than simply the club deciding.

They got away with it last year with Hurry, so its only history repeating itself.
