  1. For me many of the posts reacting to this are reading far too much into it re 'corruption' and 'control' Just because it is only announced now it doesnt mean its just blown up in the last few days It may now look like Buster is trying to move the pieces due to Ipswich not having found a top end when infact the issue was known right from the outset and unrelated
  2. Harris must be the favourite in the frame now Assuming that with him on 7.59 (after reduction) what do we have left taking into account that would mean the others DO get a reduction as well
  3. Indeed - missed that one I will kick Beerhut accordingly for supplying duff information
  4. Unless the true reason is average miscalculation.....
  5. Even taking reductions for Harris and Cook makes the total 0.02 over rounding up the conversions...
  6. Yes - if you found out we would need to make sure you couldnt repeat it Horses head on pillow sort of deal ☺
  7. For Tungate to fit the reductions have to apply as first expected So the removal of reduction yheory would be a red herring if he is the replacement
  8. IMO even Brunel wouldnt have been able to build the bridge needed to see Tungate back at Ipswich......
  9. Sometimes there is more to it than simple maths.....
  10. Fair play pussycats - you cant beat this thread for controversy and drama
  11. Take a chill pill Starry Its just a little part of a run of cheesy carpet puns No one is having a go!! I will have my abacus ready - last time my Ipswich team won they were still in popular use
  12. Excuse me - it was on the main BSPA website twitter link and still is!! It is therefore very much already in the public domain. I'm not even on twitter so would not even have been aware unless it was on the sports official national website SpeedwayGB Retweeted Josh Macdonald @chunk259 Devastating news about Workington speedway shutting down this year, sadly it’s left me without a spot for 2019, after some thinking and talking to a few close friends, I’ve decided to still fly over and collect my visa and spend some part of the season hoping for a opportunity. Jan 16, 2019
  13. If that is the case using the final issue then Boro are over the limit for the 7 declared
  14. Saw a tweet from Josh MacDonald quoted on the BSPA site that he intends to still travel to Britain , pick up his visa and look for opportunities through the summer Is this actually possible?? Given his sponsoring employer is not trading I assumed his visa would be invalid If it is still valid and issued then I understood the sponsor had to provide accomodation and a regular income (something like a min £150 per week) I cant imagine this would be the case in the circumstances Anyone able to clarity the realities of the situation
  15. Probably not but now subject of a little bit of doubt until the situation regarding the Brit reductions is clarified
  16. A few have been saying Poole are a deep pile for years
  17. A press release quote and what ends up in the regs dont always match up It wouldnt be the first time things have been tweaked Of course not knowing exactly what the intention was in the first place or what the position actually is now anyway makes it impossible to know if it has been altered
  18. It may well be wrong info in the/supplied to the Star and not anything more sinister
  19. Could this be to do with the reductions for British riders Speedway Star today quotes that Ipswich have 13.48 points available for the final 2 signings For this to be correct it would mean King and Lawson DO NOT get the reduction So either the Speedway Star is wrong or the goalposts have moved which impacts some completed teams....... Again a lack of transparency leaves fans in the dark
