  1. Re-admission policy In the event of a rain-off, the British Speedway policy is as follows: Should the meeting be abandoned before heat one, your ticket can be used at one of the following three home meetings after the rain-off or at the re-arranged fixture. Should the meeting be called off before heat 10, the re-admission discount is as follows. £1 will be taken off the re-admission price for every heat that is not completed before heat 10. You can claim your discount upon presenting your ticket at one of the following three home meetings after the abandonment or at the re-arranged fixture. Heats raced Discount 1 £9 2 £8 3 £7 4 £6 5 £5 6 £4 7 £3 8 £2 9 £1 This is copied from the Ipswich website - one that at least is fully upfront with the policy by publushing clearly and in full on easily accessible public pages
  2. The standard reduction is £1 for each heat not completed upto heat 10 (when a result would be called and no refund offered) That should mean an £8 reduction for the rearranged fixture or any of the next 3 meetings (but clubs may have their own criteria)
  3. That may because he was signed whilst still injured as opposed to injured after signing
  4. Back in the day I believe that it was the case that no replacement would be allowed prior to riding but in more recent times there has been a number of examples where a it has happened at the start of the season It is still upheld for mid season changes mind
  5. Lambert needs to produce or the Pirates will run away with it Even with a good performance from him I can see a narrow away win
  6. Good news (relatively) then Tough start to the year when you have such machinery woes
  7. Lets hope the Witches early season injury jinx hasnt struck again - Jake has taken a tumble at Leicester and withdrawn from the meeting Comments on updates (thanks Sue and all ) suggest a wrist injury
  8. Doesnt matter how few points Andersen scores - unless the 2019 are different to last year no non British rider can have an average below 4 for team building purposes
  9. Rumours and fake news abound when certain posters are determined the rubbish stir
  10. Fair play to Paco - I was quite blunt about his inclusion. Two good wins in the first meeting is already more than I expected he would get in the first month He is a great character and if he continues to add a few decent point hauls to that would certainly justify his place I wouldnt be unhappy to be proved wrong!
  11. Shame - probably a bit chilly to perch on the roof......
  12. Cant you just pop round to No17 for a cup of tea - bound to be a great view from there
  13. Vote for your opposition top rider could be a good call Eg against Lynn Robert Lambert would be expected to win 15 so get him in 14 where the rivals have voted in our weaker pair Yes he would most likely win but gives a better chance in 15 If the Lynn TM doesnt put Lambert in the 4 in order to ringfence for 15 then you get the chance to vote in a weaker rider ☺
