  1. Point taken although they often comment on and appear to have an affinity to Somerset
  2. Certainly could - depends on his passport status I'm happy to admit I didn't realise his British links were first relation
  3. Lets use your scenario Kyle Bickley starts at Worky last year Lets say he was on £40 per point Fast forward 5 years and in order for him not to miss a whole season somewhere along the line he still potentially has to ride for £40 per point even if he progresses to No1 status Bonkers
  4. In fact I dont think Flint is even 16 yet - therefore what other realistic starting assessed average could he possibly be given than the basic 2 This is all because it doesnt suit your club I am absolutely sure had Kemp and or Flint signed for Somerset this would not have been your stance
  5. And now we have someone suggesting that 2 16 year olds with no real experience are picked out for handicapping in their first season in the CL! I despair
  6. As Ive stated on various other threads We all know what the real intention of the reg is - to assist British riders It just needs the correct composition in order to exclude those that did indded start in the 3rd tier but whos status would not now meet the entry qualification Anyone calling for the reduction to apply to the Aussie in their side is just perpetuating the self interest and manipulation that is at the core of the sports issues
  7. At the end of the season and before any switch of league I certainly felt Nico would be elsewhere in 2019 The switch has thrown lots into the air I wouldnt be shocked to not see Nico at Ipswich
  8. There was a way to have a higher limit and retain the core of PL riders.... It was to stay PL! The CL is aiming for a differentiated structure, ultimately removing doubling between the leagues You cant have your cake and eat it as the saying goes
  9. I find it hard to believe that costs at Championship level would be such a surprise to the promotion at this late stage
  10. I almost wish I was a Tigers fan just to see Drews first full season I hope it wont be too long before we see him as a Witch again Im sure Danny will be fit unless its totally out of his control. There are few with the professional approach he has at league level
  11. I think it seems even longer as we finished nearly 3 months ago! Whatever will be will be
  12. It will make a change not to be favourites for the first time in a few years Will make any success all the sweeter
  13. Why does everyone assume we will be the poor relations We have attendances in line with the other Premiership clubs and the Tru tie up is as good as any also No reason we cant compete
  14. Patience is a virtue No racing until April so doesnt matter if the team is named in December or March
  15. But the Rye fixtures have been deleted (hence Harris going from about 7 up to 7.78) His previous 2nd tier average therefore may well apply
  16. Looks like we may be left with the hand me downs or something similar
  17. Drew had 7 meetings and will get a first true average after just 1 qualifying away meeting From those 7 without bonus points his average was 4.65 so he may well go into the top 5 as soon as that 8th meeting takes effect
  18. The likes of Drew , Flint , Bickley etc aspiring to reach current Polish standard will raise the level of British speedway and give us a chance of defeating them
