  1. Well done Pob for your efforts with the Massif pages Would be great to see the Witches and the Massif get bigger and better next season
  2. It will be interesting to see who the new owner is not just of Peterborough but also the other clubs currently for sale New blood should be welcomed - perhaps there may be 1or 2 surprises that shake the sport up for the better
  3. Put certain riders of a 50m handicap and you would have them as 3 pointers by May but stuck off 50m all year The next year off scratch those same riders would average 10+ Handicaps not practical IMO
  4. Perhaps we talk to people who talk to people.... Anyway Ged doesnt live near Peterborough and he knows whats going on (hopefully)
  5. Only because Flint is such a talent and improved his average dramatically On starting figures not as strong
  6. Flint Hume Clegg and Davey all in the same team is too strong for the NL IMO
  7. Agree Jason that the 2nd tier reserve berth should be exclusive for Brit riders to progress from NL and like the idea of them staying at reserve all season
  8. Can only go by the fact that a significant number of posts on this thread are stating 1)Top league speedway at Boro doesnt work 2)2nd tier speedway at Boro doesnt work 3)Weekend speedway at Boro doesnt work 4)Weekday speedway at Boro doesnt work 5)Any combination of the above at Boro doesnt work Of course how representitive that is of the real view of the pussycat faithful is not proven and there I would bow to your greater local knowledge Im just very surprised at how much negativity there is for ANY proposal even given thats what the BSF often does best
  9. Non Brits currently come in on a min 4 and cannot drop below 4 so that would have to change for that to be an option Personally I wouldnt allow any rider under 4 in the Premiership anyway..... That said I tend to agree with the principle of recreating the gap between leagues Ideally 2nd tier heat leaders should only be reserves/lower second string in the top league
  10. Sounds like many of you think the best plan would be to turn off the lights, lock the doors and hand back the keys..... You should be delighted anyone wants to take it on and keep it going (at whatever level)
  11. Count me out on that £10-12 is not a realistic or feasible price for entrance to any professional sport
  12. May depend just how drastic any changes are in the structure of the leagues There are some suggestions Championship level could be 6 man teams at around 36 point limit with the 'top end' riders excluded Perhaps that would mean a switch now retaining the likes of Rory and Danny seems more attractive
  13. Thursday Isnt that what the top league really want anyway.......
  14. I would imagine that the football club can/will offer some kind of grass roots/community deal which will bring with it access to FA and lottery funding
  15. From BSPA site 26 Berwick meetings in 2018 scoring 162 points plus 21 bonus points
  16. If you put that £80pp cap in place then quite probably even those you list wouldnt be taking a huge cut David isnt the only one Ive heard say they are earning the same or less per point than 10 years ago
  17. But if they lost from that position everytime then they wouldnt have a team total average of 42.50 - it would drop to around 42 So whilst it could be lost it wouldnt if the team maintained the equivalent of a 42.50 total by getting a 3-3 Not quite the 'load of bull' you claim
  18. Donkey is an absolute legend - he couldve pulled out his lawnmower from his shed and won races
  19. Perhaps THJ is suggesting a new/revised approach for 2019.....
  20. Effectively already the case - see below (or a few above - take your pick )
