Coventry v Eastbourne Play Offs.dontforgetthefueltapsbruv replied to Woz01's topic in National League Speedway Brennan and Wood both need to move on to the next level and are both more than capable of making a success of it IMO The structure needs to be moulded to assist this type of rider

Tai Woffinden Best Ever!?dontforgetthefueltapsbruv replied to IainB's topic in Speedway News and Discussions It would be interesting if someone eas able to provide stats on that I wonder how many time the champion came from outside the top 4 after 2 rides I have no idea but an educated guess would be not very many Equally I wonder how many GP champions have been outside the top 4 after 2 rounds

Glasgow 2018dontforgetthefueltapsbruv replied to kermitfrog's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway Grading would mean far more uneven teams Instead of all teams around 42.5 you would end up with a few effectively nearer 50 and some not far above 35 Would be a disaster IMO

Tai Woffinden Best Ever!?dontforgetthefueltapsbruv replied to IainB's topic in Speedway News and Discussions Chris Louis has also been vocal about how the modern machine rides He has regularly ridden to test since his retirement and it isnt that it is simply harder for him to ride due to not doing it professionally anymore He has said that the characteristics with the way the engines rev are now full throttle or nothing. Old fashioned throttle control simply doesnt work as it did before hence riders becoming 'passengers' at times now in difficult situations and this despite their skills not the lack of skill
