Very much personal opinion. I defended Baldy as I know its his genuine opinion of racing at Arena. I dont actually agree with him. I have enjoyed many meetings at Arena although it is much more enjoyable when rooting for the home team! Whilst supporting the Witches it is generaly less attractive!

The regs do indeed make no mention of serious illness or emergencies relating to family members and I agree therefore do not cover Richatds situation Equally Lakesides statement makes no mention either and so was incomplete and open to scrutiny It didnt need to give details but just be accurate. It implied his illness was the reason. It shouldve explain it was compassionate dispensation. No one wouldve argued with that or demanded further information in those circumstances

Witches need to improve vastly on the shield performances (home and away) to stand any chance Confident of seeing improvement but not so sure it will be vast enough Can see a lead of only 6-8 being overhauled by a Hammers 12+ win

The statement was 'Lawson misses Berwick due to illness' The reg states 'non speedway injury - 7 day suspension from day of meeting' Therefore it wasnt naive or stupid to question the fact that the suspension was not invoked The statement maybe wasnt inaccurate but certainly was incomplete and open to scrutiny

Certainly seems that it was not expected by our promotion.....

Revised green sheet averages have already been released 4 home 4 away no longer being applied (apart from non 2017 riders) Back to 20 meeting rolling averages including 2017 meetings
