  1. Id expect 'wheres the bar' will be the first question Enjoy your tour Paulco
  2. Only 3 Thursday clubs so on their own could out vote the rest Perhaps some of those Championship clubs saw having Ipswich Sheffield and Redcar within their league as a better option rather tgan forcing them into the Premiership (or out of business) leaving the 2nd level depleted to 8 clubs just to bail out the failing prima donnas 'above' them Wednesday also suited certain top flight clubs whom were careful to let it happen and follow rather than propse and incur the wrath of their peers....
  3. Equally Boro were happy to accept the Cook situation (with no clashes) but were told they couldnt Double standards (as is often the case in british speedway) If it were Poole those defending this would be up in arms
  4. Screw up ir not it is how it is and should be followed accordingly. Two wrongs dont make a right etc As an aside - Has anyone ever had an answer when raising a point with the BSPA? I gave emailed a few times with genuine (and polite!!) requests for information or clarification and NEVER had a single response.
  5. Tell him to buy a wristband for Blackpool Pleasure Beach then
  6. Peterborough were blocked from signing Cook a while back because of the same race night situation and inthat case there were no clashes Was stated that such a situation was not allowed. Boro had to change their race night to get it through Further issues could arise with rearrangements Just because options are limited shoukdnt mean tge regs are ignored
  7. Strange that with Swindon riding half their home meetings on Thursday that they sign a replacement from a Thursday night Championship club...
  8. How can a rider at a Thursday Championship club sign for a Premiership side also riding half their home meetings on a Thursday? Peterborough were blocked from signing Cook previously and had to switch race night to do so
  9. Not really an option With the late switch to include 2017 meetings and the Shield fixtures we are nearly 2 points over the limit despite Nico and Cam dropping To replace Danyon with Greaves would mean a double switch. Dropping Nico or Cam woukd mean replacing whichever with a sub 4 point rider..... That puts us back to square 1
  10. No 2017 Prem average so should be his current Champ figure converted 8.27 รท1.3 = 6.36
  11. Those are serious accusations so I would expect Gino is being totally honest otherwise he is on shaky legal ground As for Gino chasing to a Kings Lynn meeting on a Wednesday to catch up with Jorgensen theres no guarantee he would find him - just as likely for Jorgensen to be in Denmark anyway
  12. Not underestimating Berwick - a very mediocre team. We have just been even worse than mediocre
  13. Rory it seems was a class apart - and just as well. Decent from Haertel and looks like Ben battled away as ever. Very ordinary to say the least after that. Disappointing result.
  14. No he was right.... .....it was one of the closest meetings to a total humiliation
  15. At least this year it was only a mid meeting apology needed rather than sackings
  16. Difficult one to call Berwick have been hit and miss at home albeit the loss to Newcastle was only in a challenge The Witches are capable of pulling off a win but riding to capability hasnt been a consistent trait so far in 2018! Ben generally does well when guesting for us even when he is struggling generally so hope that will continue. Always pleased to see Ben don the Witch Not sure how fit Haertel really is - may be a doubt there too.... Im gonna be bold and say Witches to win by 4
  17. Just seen a messge from the Jenkins family stating that Jordan went back into to hospital earlier today and has now got confirmation of broken vertebrae too. Terrible news and all the best there too
