  1. Excellent win with the final scoreline making it look easier than it really was Solid all round effort - important contributions from Connor and Danyon in the 2nd half Christina likes purple lollipops and the present from the Massif worked Shame that Nico had the 1 blip - wouldve been well worth a paid 21 Great to see Cam back on it too Rory was well.just Rory! Class Lots of concern for Danny - take the time to get yourself right fella. There are more important things in life Campton was a superb guest and just as well as Wells was very poor and the others a bit erratic
  2. My Grandads string vests had less holes in than your arguement Its the first time Ive seen a simple average described as "a convoluted mathmatical formula" The plus/minus wonder formula though allows the team in the bigger group to have more chance to gain points but is oh so much fairer and simpler
  3. This one maybe about timing of signing Those that dudnt DU from the start had the average from the other league converted rather than use 2017 Only after a full month and a revision for the league rejoined will the 2017 meetings be added Eg in Champ Greaves 2017 CL 4.57 but joined Redcar on 3.89 converted PL from 2018. From July 1st his CL average will then include hus 2017 meetings! Would that fit for MPT - when did he sign?
  4. Neil Watson is best for this one! To know which meetings are included you need the full spreadsheet to ensure you drop the correct meetings as new ones are added Whilst I like to think I have a decent grasp of the principles I dont have that info
  5. Did you manage to convert your £GB to Norfolk groats - if not that coukd be yhe problem *see how difficult it is - even thinking about Norfolk made it difficult to actually use the English language

  7. No 4 is the minimum for any rider other than cat 3 (which is effectively Brit 2 ptrs)
  8. Doesnt matter what his actual average is after 8 meetings his team building average cannot drop below 4
  9. Often in the past I have defended Cam at times when others have been critical At those times Ive felt there has been genuine reasons to justify that Right now unfortunately it is very difficult to find such reasons to do so again Such a frustration to watch this year. I dont want to see him replaced but he certainly needs to sort a few things out and quickly.
  10. Due to a mathematical technicality Jeppesen's 4 point Premiership average converts to a Championship figure of 5.20 Had a diffrent conversion figure been used it wouldve been different A bit like using average match points as opposed to points won minus points lost
  11. Had there been another side in the group and that side managed to make Peterborough drop those home points it makes it very likely THAT team wouldve been second in the group AND therefore in with a chance of being better placed runners up than Sheffield too
  12. A bit like not accepting a simple principle of average points per match??
  13. What if the team in 3rd in 1 group had a better record that the team in 2nd in the other??
  14. And if you put Scunthorpe in the Peterborough group and look at the result the Panthers got at EWR they couldve had the chance to score more points All pure conjecture in both scenarios which leaves us back with the actual situation and using the actual rules which result in Boro qualifying
  15. Agree - the average match points take into account the 2 away defeats for Sheffield that HAVE taken place
  16. You yet again ignore the defeats Pboro 3 pts per home meeting Sheffeiled 3 pts per home meeting Identical records Pboro 3 pts from 2 away ave 1.5 Sheff 4 pts from 3 away ave 1.33° Now which is the better away record??
  17. You fail to take any account for the 2 defeats that Sheffield had whilst Peterborough only had 1 Pboro won half their away meetings and Sheff a third - when I went to school a half was larger than a third Even 1 losing point in either of those wouldve given the Tigers a better match point average and they didnt manage it You talk of mathmatical advantage of a smaller group when the larger group had the advantage of an extra chance to gain an all important losing point That team didnt even have to win or draw to gain an advantage only lose by less!
