Wouldnt surprise me at all if Holder says bye bye to the Panthers anyway and has no interest in the 2nd tier of British Speedway in 2018. -

I wont get the chance when thhe pussycats visit Ipswich either - its the downside of refusing to attend a meeting he rides in due to the appalling situation created but a sacrifice worth making for my principles. -
I agree with Sidneys general optimism. There are much greater numbers that 'have a chance' than there have been for sometime. I do though think SCBs assessment is valid. Those destined for the top will nearly always progress very very quickly so by 20/21 should be out of the development leagues unless they didnt start until 18+. Thats where the youth structure is vital giving training and practice opportunities long before league elligibility arrives. Too often until the relatively recent past a complete newcomer with next to no experience would be thrust straight into competitive league racing and thats often not good for development.

Going from Baldys messages that seems to have been our best all round performance of the season. Well chuffed 👍👏 -

We will need to trap a bit better to stand a chance. The Worky boys looked sharper on Thursday and if that happens again I think they will have too much pace for us to get even a point. -
Really enjoyable meeting last night Worky for the 2nd time came and gave it a real go and again it meant some decent races. Cam great value again as was Kyle.Danny unbeatable after unusually musjudging his set up in heat 1.Rory solid as ever. Connor continues to improve and produce more than expected. Nathan is a fans dream in terms of approach and his tenancity. Well done fellas - loved it 👍👏

Just reading that Dorset has slipped from top spot to be behind West Sussex in the list of best places for pensioners to live. Who would think that speedway results were included in a quality of retirement index 😛

We've had 2 or 3 and also a couple of blank reserved dates as the completion of the cup is a joke. There is the double issue of a rain off being against Sheffield and needing to ride them also in the cup but we have got on and arranged as best as possible. Extending the deadline just compresses all the problems for meetings that should be the pinnacle of the season. -
Well they say life begins at 40 and a new one certainly has for Leigh this year. Top bloke - Happy Birthday fella 👍

promotion play offs and cup finals shouldnt be sqeezed into the last week of October to placate those unable to sort themselves out before a set date known at the start of the season
