  1. Agree with that - an effective 36 total was a huge downgrade. At least with a revised 42 limit it sets the total around the average new totals with all riders getting new figures. In the Championship it stays at 40 all season which is just plain daft.
  2. The over 12 averages didnt matter as it was all relative. Couldve had averages that werent inflated but the limit wouldve been 36ish Either way each rider would be the same proportion of the total.
  3. If he wants it. Think he rides a fair bit on the continent at weekends. Long term experience of that type may well be better than a 2nd tier UK spot. Agree he would be a bargain signing though.
  4. Greaves is far from rubbish. He has done a superb job at Ipswich aveaging nearly 5. Has applied himself with a first class attitude and produced over and above expectations.
  5. and bears s#!t in the woods Looks like your no1 was class as well 😜
  6. Cook Campton Proctor Jorgensen and Sarj all made a genuine pass of a home rider at some point. Williamson got 2 2nds which away from home and in a top5 position is creditable and Shuttleworth was not off the pace. The Witches were just very very good and determined on the night.
  7. Foxhall hosts a big stock car speed weekend next week so no Witches home meeting on Thursday
  8. Sedgman not an option as you can only have 2 d/u from another team. You already now have 2 Witches....
  9. nah theres no way the Witches will hit 60 😛 Hope we give it a good go. Agree with Blu that Glasgow are unlikely to get beat at home all season. A point would be a great job done.
  10. we have battered most teams at Foxhall this year but none of the other meetings have been like this one. Well done to the Comets for playing their part despite not getting the points return. They nearly all got in the mix unlike some other oppisition.
  11. Peterborough will rack up close to 60 and paper over any cracks for at least another week
  12. was superb tonight - kept his head and held his position despite huge pressure from Cook in 15 to get his max 👍👏
  13. no official announcement but appears to be x1.2 being used All 2016 established averages are being disregarded - what would be mental is to apply it for just 1 rider (so it will probably happen 😛)
  14. no 2016 meetings count in 2017. So whatever his Prem 4.68 converts to would (or at least should) be his new Champ ave
  15. Superb meeting tonight. Great action in most heats and a couple if absolute corkers. Kyle was like a different rider - defo got himself into gear now 👍 Class from Rory as well and generally a solud all round effort. Even Baldy will be back again now 😛
  16. I dont think there will be any changes and I think that policy on balance would be the right thing. The principle of making your choices and sticking with them, showing some faith in them and working to get the best out of them appeals to me. There may be a few situations where the numbers fit and look like a 'no brainer' change but that doesnt mean it could happen - so many other factors come into play. If not for example Shanes wouldve been signed but a Championship club by now.
  17. Thats not to say that figure is right!! Cant be sure as there has been no official announcement of any conversion figure between the leagues to cover various scenarios. 😩
  18. Tungate has a new Prem ave of 4.68 which with the apparent conversion being used between the leagues would mean a Champ ave of only 5.61 if that applies rather than his 2016 9.03
  19. Boro are more than capable of winning this. First 4-5 heats are vital. Cant give away 10+ lead early on. I actually think Boro will take at least a point
