  1. Was impressed by Pickering. Quickly found a fast way round and unlucky not to score more.
  2. That 3 heat run of 5-1s got us out of jail but of course they all count so get in!! When Nathan crashed out it looked a tough task but take a bow Connor Mountain. Well deserved MOM nomination. A big part of that pivotal 3 heat streak 👍👏 I feared for The Scotsman when Danny unluckily hit the deck in 13 - his blood pressure was reaching danger levels 😊 I thought I was gonna learn some new Scottish obscenities 😆 At least Rory was fair gating last again to prove it didnt matter 😛
  3. you will have to change your name to panther@heart if you keep saying things like that 😜
  4. I think the vast majority of the clashes were weekend away dates rather than Thursdays.... It could be he realigns his thinking and makes himself available. Any club that manages to get him will be stronger for it IMO.
  5. If Sedge gets 15 all is forgiven for his last 2 away performances 😜
  6. Lets hope we dont get anymore wet stuff and the base gets a chance to dry out rather than the dampness rising like last week....
  7. The 2 parts quoted here are not always the situation. It could be - couldnt agree terms. wanted to pay too little
  8. Happy to be proved correct Neil -thats all I meant. Happy to be proved correct Neil -thats all I meant.
  9. the handcart was found found to have oversized wheels but the results stands as it was beyond doubt that hell is the destination
  10. agree with the first 3 words but vindication is not my choice for the final word 😛
  11. I dont need any help to p!$$ them off thanks 😂😂👍
  12. Expecting a squeaky bum last heat decider with the Witches just hanging on 46-44
  13. Presume you are reffering to the last line and exceptional circumstances where the result is certain. Id say thats a red herring as the result wasnt certain as there were still 6 heats remaining. It may have been certain if only 10 were run but the first line clearly states meetings of 15 heats. Again poorly put together regulation as the exceptional circumstance line follows the section covering 2 legged aggregate ties and could easily be read as only relating to that situation and not other competitions.
  14. 999/1000 I would take the opinion of Baldy over any one of the pussycats posting. Perhaps today is the 1 exception to prove the rule. Although how many digging into Baldy were actually there themselves? They were quite happy to give opinions too blindly backing their teams point of view despite also not possessing all the facts at the time....
  15. and Neil's response to my questioning Peterborough redeclaration using 3 riders with original averages (all lower than those due to come into force days later) and others with lower new averages meaning Harris could come in for Hansen was.... 'Theres nothing to see here' move along Peterborough now have a team totalling 42.53 against a 40 limit (Championship doesnt change all year) without having ridden a meeting since redeclaration. That comment sums up the contempt with which 'integrity and transparency' is still viewed at the centre of the sport.
  16. Wont steam into the pussycats as impossible to say when youre not there. Ultimately it is down to the ref. However much a team moans it is their final decision. So long as he genuinely believed it was unfit then its legit. If he just bowed to undue pressure then its not. Only those right in the middle of it will know the truth.
  17. Im sure it will all be glossed over as just persuading him to change his mind using the 'in the best interests of speedway' strapline
  18. yeah and then teams can redeclare effectively 3 points over the limit 😜
  19. I think being domiciled in the East of England has rubbed off on him.. 👍
  20. This isnt about Peterborough. I made the same points re Gappmaier when Berwick made changes. I actually specifically stated in a previous post that I didnt think it was cheating. The regulations do allow it so long as the sensible line of awarding revised averages despite not reaching 4h 4a is ignored. Doing that is a MC decsion so any fault lies there and not with any club requesting the change. The Premiership changes are another point altogether (partly due to the revision in declaration limit and the time it has taken to get anywhere near 4h 4a for a number of teams) and shouldnt cloud any situation in the Championship - 2 wrongs dont make a right as the old saying goes.
