  1. Bridger is the key for me.If he has his equipment sorted then it will be tough for us. I have more hope than expectation of a Witches win.
  2. Going by the details on the website it continued to rain at Foxhall until around 8pm so in that case covers would make no difference.
  3. It did cease for a bit around 7.20 but there were intermitment spells of wet stuff again after. How hard it was at the track during the time the meeting would've been on Im not sure - I was a few miles away by then. Granted there was a chance covers MAY have allowed this meeting to be on but by no means certain. I also cant remember another call off in the last few years where a call off at Foxhall would've been prevented - rain has always been falling throughout. Generally Ipswich have a very good record of getting meetings on even in challenging conditions wherever possible.
  4. where as in Ipswich it stopped about 7.20 (but damage already done)
  5. Agree with cueball. Promotions are between rock and a hard place. Ipswich had no rain til mid afternoon and then only light. Tweeting at 5 all was well track could take the rain due. It then comes down harder than forecast and is called off at 7.05 with people waiting in the carpark. A pain and unfortunate but cant be helped IMO.
  6. Not sure what is best. Wait like Ipswich til last minute promising all is well and then have to call it off and being accused of lies. Or like Sheff call it off early and then it seems all ok and then be accused of being too hasty.
  7. 50/50 with rain. Most forecasts are for it to be patchy and fast moving. Just depends if we get lucky - whats the chances of that eh! 😠
  8. not heard from him in a while. Certainly keeping a low profile.May well even be out of the country again.
  9. which is about double what he actually acheived
  10. Can build to 42 for redclaration once new averages established. Changes need to be like for like or where 2 made at once team has to come back under 42.
  11. not automatically as neither have completed 4h 4a. Would need dispensation from MC to have assessment made against rides from the 7 completed meeting to be used should we choose to redeclare. To my knowledge this regulation has NEVER been invoked before. I would say there is a strong case for Danyon as currently at 4.57 and even with 7 zero point rides in that 8th meeting his new average would be 3.81. Just shows how well he has performed.
  12. Must say Im struggling to summon too much enthusiasm for tonight right now. The one positive will be to be able to welcome Kyle to Foxhall. 😡😕😕😡
  13. MC can award a new average to rider who has not completed 4h 4a by May1st if the team us redeclaring. The thing is they never have before in all the years the reg has been in place.
  14. only league matches although ironically the 4th league match was due against Berwick who we rode in the cup as well. Dont like the sound of it when the update uses the word 'exstensive' arm injuries. 😩
  15. $#!/ £@£ @$## %÷×==@¥¥ Whatever you choose to translate that as it wont be as bad as what I meant 😠😠
  16. I would expect 2 - dont think the reg to award an new ave without 4h 4a has EVER been invoked even though it has been in place for a few years. Gotta be a good case for at least 4 given that even 5 lasts on that 4th home meeting would see him at 4. To be honest though I not that bothered so long as Danyon is OK.
  17. Looking like we may be drowning our sorrows with the way our luck is going 😦Golf still open and counting on the increased income 😆 Hoping for a warm night,a safe thrilling meeting with the Witches winning a last heat decider.
  18. Im well p!$$ed off now. Gutted for Danyon. All the best fella. Heres hoping its not as bad as it first seems (classic straw clutching there!)
  19. As a neutral who only has the video of heat 13 on the BSPA site to go by it certainly didnt look like there was a lack of dirt. Yes a bit loose and dry but that issue seems to have been explained. Im sure if a few more races are like that one then most wont be too unhappy regardless of the conditions. That was a really good race.
  20. not sure it would work like that either.Could well be a you break it you pay for it policy as well....
