Whilst having 3 meetings in a week is a bit crazy I dont buy into the cost to fans problem. If you plan to attend all home meetings and there is only 1 meeting in June for example why not just put your admission money for the 3 weeks with no meeting into a pot ready for the crazy week in August.

Im not a fan of tacticals whether as substitute or for double points - even more so in a 2 legged aggregate tie. The best team should win on there own all round merits not by skewing towards a top heavy team set up.

I agree with Sidneys general optimism. There are much greater numbers that 'have a chance' than there have been for sometime. I do though think SCBs assessment is valid. Those destined for the top will nearly always progress very very quickly so by 20/21 should be out of the development leagues unless they didnt start until 18+. Thats where the youth structure is vital giving training and practice opportunities long before league elligibility arrives. Too often until the relatively recent past a complete newcomer with next to no experience would be thrust straight into competitive league racing and thats often not good for development.

Perhaps with Busters liking for last minute decisions he will make a decree at 3pm that it is to be the KOCup tie after all leaving another Holder with no way back 😜😜
