Personally i always prefer the team that was top of the league to win the play offs. I remember 1 season where both Poole and Peterborough made wholesale changes and roared up the table. Poole got 4th and won the title easily, same would have happened if Peterborough had made it. At least now the signing of riders is stopped earlier in the season makes it a level playing field barring injuries.

Swindon v Poole Belle Vue v Wolves Im going for a Swindon v Belle Vue final. I think over 2 legs with 2 full teams Belle Vue will beat Wolves Swindons biggest issue is the reserve positions, get that wrong and it could cost them in the final

Jack Holders last 3 meetings at Somerset: 5 points 11 points (only one win and a double pointer in that score) 4 points. Thats an average of 6.66 a meeting not exactly flys around there. Paul Starke rode for Somerset Kennett last season scored 14 (from 4 rides inc. 6 pointer) and 11+2 (5 rides) So hardly think they are weaker than Holder around Somerset. You think that Kerr and Doolan would score better than Heeps? Strange. Is Shanes a better rider than Doolan? Not around Somerset for sure! Shanes 1 point last time and Doolan 8+1 from Number One. You are one of only 2 people on here who think Poole are worse off than Somerset.........just waiting for the third member of the trio to turn up!

Cant see Mondays being a set night. Will the top boys do Poland, England, Sweden, Denmark in that order. Then will they want to do Thursdays over her just before gp weekends? Holder isnt in form and scored only 5 so r/r will make you stronger Heeps is in good form and r/r makes them weaker Doolan doesnt even come close to what Allen would have scored Shanes only got 1 last time so Wood cant do much worse. Add in an unfit Hougaard and quite clearly Somerset are weakened more than Poole. Having a guest each and r/r each doesnt automatically balance things up!

Why is it beyond you?? Somerset are far weaker than Poole with riders missing.............Holder and Shanes managed 6 between them last time. Rye are taking on Swindon......you know the team that havent lost in 17 matches yet you believe Rye are nailed on to beat them! Why do you always play down Pooles chances when everyone else can clearly see what you do?

I see in the speedway star that Doyle is unlikely to race over here next season Could possibly be that the only gp riders who race over here will be Lindgren and Cook
