ah I see your now backtracking so much you want to use an average that isn't even being used anymore?? His REAL average is 10.01. You want to use last seasons average to try and make you look right. You have the audacity to call me an idiot.
-
so your now saying he will maintain his 7.15 average?? Well if he does Poole will be at the foot of the table as your number 1 needs more than that lol. Ive said he will lose 2 points off of his average of 10.01 do you agree?? I ask because you expect him to get 10 points which is about an 8 average?
-
sorry what's your point?? Join in the debate about Hans average if your intellect will let you sorry it's hard to deal with people who either can't see there error or simply won't acknowledge it
-
nope Gavan did not say it would be tougher for experianced riders. Please highlight where I did thanks. I simply said Hans would lose up to 2 points from his average. Your exact words were he would maintain his average no sweat. You then realised his average was over 10 and backtracked and said it would be 10 points a meeting which from 5 rides is an average around 8, this 2 points of his average as I correctly stated. Stop fabricating that I said it would be tougher. You have been caught out and now make up stuff
-
Bit disappointed that Barker not coming back but I think Chris is looking for a bigger hitter. Sarj may well retain his place and then another 5.5 rider to replace Morten. I would imagine Chris has someone lined up for Ben. Could be Schlien who goes well at our place
-
thank you for admitting you were wrong it's good to know you realised your mistake. You clearly stated Hans would maintain his average 'no sweat' was the exact words you used. You have now completely backtracked and said Hans will get 10 points a meeting. Well assuming you mean 10 from 5 rides I will let you do the calculation as to what that makes his average (a little clue, it's very close to 8.00). So when you said I was wrong that Hans could drop 2 points off his average you are now agreeing with me. Thank you for proving me right

Hans averaged 7.15 from riding second string for some time last season as well as a heat leader. I expect from riding at number 1 the whole time in an easier league (possibly) that he should get over 8. That's almost 2 points off his average.
-
your are making no sense at all as usual!! You think Hans Andersen will maintain his average yes? Ok is that the 10.01 average he has now which he has no chance of maintaining.......or the 7.15 from last season which will not be enough from a number 1???? You quite clearly quote ' I never said he would average over 10 but maintain his average'. So please enlighten me as to what you mean??
-
not wrong clown. Hans average was just over 7 and the baulk of his high scores were from number 4. He did have some decent scores from heat leader but ultimately he finished the season below 8 when he rode second string and then heat leader. Now all of a sudden he is expected to ride as an out and out number 1 and you think he will maintain a 10 point average!!!
-
Hans Andersen will never in a million years obtain an average over 10 next season!!! You are talking absolute tosh as usual. As pointed out 9 from 5 rides is just over a 7 average. He will possibly average over 8 but your more foolish than Starman if you think he will get over 10!
-
Why are Poole fans on a Swindon thread? We constantly get told to go back to our own clubs if we dare to chat on a Poole thread! Seems to me some of them are worried about their inability to keep a world class rider like Swindon have done and are a tad jealous lol
-
from second string early on was banging in 9 or 10 points most meetings. When put into the heat leader role he was scoring 6 and 7. So he will definatly drop 2 points off his average I would say........oh just like Holder would have done
-
ah yes when he was riding at number 4.
-
So Holder says the averages have forced him out erm no it's your team don't want you. All the fools saying Holder couldn't maintain his 12 point average but yet are happy for a rider on the downgrade to be their number one on an average above 10! Hans will do well to average 8. Big mistake without Holder. Doyle will get Swindon 14 or 15 most meetings and from heat 10 onwards you need a big hitter. Hans will go missing a lot and will do well to get double figures in most meetings. His last 4 scores at home riding as a heat leader were 6, 6, 7, 6 hardly number 1 material!
-
Doesn't say he wants to ride for Poole and Poole only. Let's see if Belle Vue want him?? Bit rich coming from someone who couldn't be arsed to support British speedway in 2013.

Yep Kyles could , maybe Brady maybe Bates. but have a look at most teams top 5, 1 and at best possibly 2 may improve their starting average. Those riders who solely rode elite league last season will have to improve hugely to achieve the 1.4 multiple conversion and the top boys converting their premier league averages will also not maintain. The only riders are those who are awful in the premier (Newman and Bates) who may improve but not if they arent in reserve. Zagar, Fricke, Nicholls, KK, Harris, Pedersen, Iversen, Doyle, AJ, Nilsson, Morris, Thorsell. all rode elite league only and all will see their averages drop. Howarth, Tungate, Josh G, Lawson, Worrall, Kennett, Cook, King, all coming in on last seasons premier average and again will struggle to maintain them. If you can find 5 riders who will up their average (forget 3 pointers) then you will have done very well correct , Chris Holder fell out with Matt Ford as has been well documented on this forum by those Poole fans in the know. He doesnt care much for the Poole track either. Points conversion is a nice excuse for him to leave. Hans Andersen as Poole number 1 , racing Doyle 3 times , no chance
-
correct if Doyle rides for Swindon and Holder , Zagar and Iversen dont ride over here then Doyle should be good for 14 or 15 points every meeting and that is a massive amount. every team , and 90% of riders will drop their average thats a fact.
-
course he doesnt , hmmm tell me again he he was able to get Newman last season?
-
im confused by people saying Holder couldnt maintain his average! Its the same across the board! ALL elite league riders have had an average increase and premier league averages come across Could King and Cook as 2 examples maintain their averages?? 90% of riders will lose up to 2 points minimum on their averages so surely its relative. Poole have got Newman on a very good average and to be fair Jack Holders is good to. Missed a trick not signing Chris to help his brother. Holder snr Holder jnr Ellis Newman Kurtz Leaves roughly 8.5 for 2 other riders or take Kurtz out have a 9 pointer and then a 4 and 3 pointer. Holder, 9 pointer, Ellis or Jack would be a strong enough heat leader trio. They would get near enough 30 points a meeting minimum.

How is the system punishing British youngsters? They all got an average based on their performances last season??? Garrity, Newman, Auty, Starke, Ellis, Howarth, Lambert. All their averages reflect their ability do they not? If you ask me last season was worse for the youngsters, if they did well in reserve they were put up in the 1-5 and Poole as an example could have the Aussie champ and Bjarne at reserve! How is that good for the youngsters??? Ellis has a fair average, nicely complemented by the fact Newman is on a low one for a rider for his ability
-
Missing the point by a country mile. The BSPA are not at fault for Ellis's average, why on earth do you think that? His average is a true reflection based on his elite league performances in 2016, a season where he quite clearly (especially at home) he was comfortable as a second string. Answer me this. Is Ellis better than Newman and Howarth? Is Ellis not as good as Garrity or Lambert? If you answer yes to both those then you can have no complaints whatsoever about his average. Granted he hasnt been fixed up anywhere but apart from Doyle then please enlighten me as to who has got a place next season? He is more of a risk then some experianced riders if he moved tracks and that may hinder him having a new home track. If i was a Poole fan i would prefer the young improving brit over someone like Bjerre Schlein or Watt. Apart from possibly Watt you would fancy Adam to be better at Wimborne Road then Bjerre or Schlein would you not? Adam's average is 100% correct as advocated by the vast majority of Poole fans Poole dont want him thats there choice they are entitled to track who they want. I just think its a poor show to lose him and replace him with a Bjerre, Schlein or Watt
-
I was standing by the pits at Foxhall when Somerset were last there. It was during the interval and Tungate came over to 2 Somerset fans who firstly congratulated him on his performance. To sum up his response: Chris gives them a different track each week and the home riders hate it. Love getting one over them keeps the crowd quiet. Worst track in the league Follow the leader Just need to set the bike up from the gate.
-
100% correct

You need to read over my posts again Lisa as quite clearly you havent. And how on earth can it be anti Poole when im saying they should back young British riders I said Ellis in the top 5 could be a liability away from home in the play offs. Which is something ive said in relation to him finding other clubs. I stand by my opinion that at the time the World Cup team was announced that Bates deserved that reserve spot based on international performances and winning the British Under 21 title. Im not saying Adam is the best thing since sliced bread. I am saying he is a young improving Brit and has been discarded (not for the first time by Poole) in favour of giving a foreign rider work. Why pick Gomolski over Ellis for example? They dont have to sign Ellis at all Just seems crazy they would scrap a young Brit (again) for a foreign rider , when that young Brit is improving rapidly
-
Ellis could easily be fitted in His average fits in with all the other young brits, higher than Newman and Howarth, and lower than Garrity or Lambert. Even his dad has been saying its ridiculous how he is out of a team place but jonny foreigner can come in with loads of sponsorship. Its left a bad taste with most Poole fans on here that Matt Ford has told him already that he isnt part of the plans. Seem to remember Poole doing this before sacking Howarth for Mickey Dyer. Why? Nobody has really done any team building yet. Ellis scored heavily from number 2 at Poole last season, getting 7 and 8 points a meeting. If he goes to another home track then he could be seen as a risk as he would need time to get used to the track He would be no risk for Poole at all
