Darcy was not allowed to ride in the Latvian gp which was mid august. I do not know the exact date he was suspended from all speedway. I feel he should serve a 6 month ban from European speedway. If you backdate that to August he will have served it by February which is totally wrong. As I said I don't know when he was suspended from but yet again does it hurt him to be banned in November, December, January, February? No it doesn't If they go back to the date of the failed test (August) then he serves 2 months then and the first 4 of this season. I haven't asked for him to be 'hung out to dry' I haven't asked for ' a year or 2 year ban' I believe a ban is correct (as do most people) I believe 6 months is fine What he needs to be banned for is racing, not during winter when all he misses is a few minor meetings in oz. Nobody is disagreeing that the FIM have reacted slowly. This should have been dealt with far quicker. The fact remains he deserves a ban. The length is up for discussion. I think that a heat leader trio of Morris , Summers, and Lawson with Kozza as second string is stronger than King Tungate Gino and Cam. All about opinions though

Why do Edinburgh fans get defensive over Cook? Every club at Premier level would love him in their team Nobody is saying that he shouldnt ride for Edinburgh. If he is comfortable making an easy living thats his choice he can settle for that. However when he retires he may look back and think ' what if ' He does show a lack of ambition but my god some fans get defensive when you say that.

not what im saying. you say he shouldnt be banned because he is a top rider and entertaining which is rubbish. He is 22 he can come back from a ban. A ban he deserves. He can go 2 ways. If he is of strong character then he will lokk on this as his wake up call and come back a better person and go forward. If he is weak he will just spirsl out of control and will be lost to speedway. Well last season we had a top 3 of Worrall, Tungate, Risager. Good back up from Gino This season top 3 King, Tungate, Gino. Hoping Heeps can back them up scoring like Gino did last year. Im aware we cant track the same riders but Worrall seemed to be getting dialled in and i just think we look weaker than last season. Gino now stepping up into a heat leader role will be fine at home but we look very weak away from home. We had a rider with potential in Adam at reserve that we have let go. This new rider needs to be sensational in my eyes. Hate to be pessimistic but i think we look poor. Just for example looked at Glasgow. 3 of their top 5 are Morris , Kozza and Berge and they can still fit in 2 8 pointers in there as well like Worrall and Risager for example. That top 5 would walk all over ours. Ok they have 2 three pointers at reserve but i can see Sarjeant adding to that. As i look at other sides i worry about us

My team is a premier league team but get real of course the elite is stronger. Cook 9+ in the premier and a mile away in the elite. If Cook is happy in the premier then thats his choice. Fact remains he will never realise his true potential while he does, and has a long way to go to be mentioned in the same breath as true premier league/national league legends

If you are banned for 6 months for an offence in Europe you should not be allowed to ride for 6 months , i.e last 3 months of last season and first 3 months of this. read my above point. banned from racing in Europe for 6 months. or banned for 9 months to take in the oz season. either way for what he has done to just miss 3 months of racing is farcical. Stefan Danno missed 8 months IN the european season
