  1. Nothing much really changes does it? No urgency at all. Well done though to those clubs who look to be in a position to comfortably complete their home fixtures in good time.
  2. I can remember seeing England v New Zealand from Wimbledon in 1970 which was shown on a Saturday afternoon.
  3. 50 years ago today saw the final of the Daily Mirror series which resulted in the much talked about and controversial run off between Peter Collins and Anders Michanek! It was certainly a great occasion!
  4. I suspect Artem is as injured as ruthless Robert was when Belle Vue rode at King’s Lynn after they had won the title last season!

  6. Email contact details for Jim Lawrence, the SCB chairman, as below should anyone wish to email him. Jl15@btinternet.com
  7. Shocking decision especially with all the evidence available.
  8. Yes indeed but not the first time Mrs Horley has made a decision that has totally baffled virtually everyone!
  9. That actually seemed to be the case to me as I thought Dan backed off in heat 13. As you say a smart move by Mark Lemon!
  10. Agreed it was a poor decision to exclude Basso.
  11. Just announced Harris is ‘officially’ guesting for Becker but I cannot see how you can replace someone who isn’t even in the current declared 1-7? Maybe as Nicholls is ‘injured’ without officially riding for Wolves you can revert to the original declaration? Would be helpful if Wolves could have clarified the matter!
  12. If the current Met Office forecast can be relied on it certainly doesn’t look promising.
  13. Even with a one minute warning I reckon many refs would still not be able to keep the show running as smoothly as Frank Ebdon always did.
  14. 188 different tracks in total covering 31 countries which is every country in the world that has staged a meeting within the past 5 or so years.
  15. Yes that is correct as the FIM wouldn’t sanction the European Championship which, I believe, will instead be held at Sanok in February.
  16. Surprised Krzysztof Kasprzak hasn’t had a mention yet given the title thread.
  17. Interesting as Berlin are also claiming to be staging this meeting as a one off on March 4!
  18. I did hear yesterday that they are due to have a practice around tomorrow lunchtime.
