Jubilee championship league

It may be cancelled, as a mark of respect to our late Queen. Can hardly 'celebrate' her Jubilee post mortem, surely? Maybe the mistake was not keeping it as the Summer Cup! -
Oxford Cheetah Cubs 2022
crescent girl replied to old bob at herne bay's topic in National League Speedway
Why is it 'ridiculous'? Since lock-down forced the issue, cash has become nearly redundant in many transactions. Once upon a time, you could turn up at a cinema with empty jam-jars or milk bottles instead of cash. Times change, processes move on. I'm sure Oxford won't be the only club -- or business in other fields --requiring only electronic payments as the norm in future -- and that we'll quickly become used to the process. -

Armadale Devils v Belle Vue Colts
crescent girl replied to edmon's topic in National League Speedway
If BV had taken a facility, the rider would have landed a 28-day suspension, would have affected Poole, as well as the Colts (who might have got their point for the play-offs). To their credit they chose to go with the blank space instead. -

Edinburgh - new home required….
crescent girl replied to JanAndersen's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
The promotion's good reputation of long-standing will allow the BSPL to place their licence "on ice" while efforts to relocate in the area are redoubled. Monarchs' assets will be loaned out as necessary. -

Friday, September 30th. Belle Vue need points from this now, or they don't make play-offs..... -
Cubs v Bullets is on Saturday, October 1. If rained off, restaged on Sunday 2nd.

The obvious answer is that clubs running NDL teams (alongside senior sides) are able to provide continuity of regular home meetings throught out a summer.
