  1. Possibly the worst GP Challenge in the history of the event. And that is saying something!
  2. Track is desperate. Slick and ruts. Frankly dangerous and a terrible advert for the sport and for any riders who are actually racers, no chance. Lambert given up. Adam Ellis clearly not fit but brave to give it a go. Bewley just hanging on. Smolinski? FFS!
  3. Leicester would have produced better racing. Still, Smolinski might not have qualified! This years KK? Hope not.
  4. Watching both, then the big one at 3pm. Salford v the mighty Swindon Town. Got to be better than this.
  5. This is awful. Seriously, how are these tracks chosen? Biggest bribe? We could end up with the gp filled with rubbish next year. Why wasn’t BV chosen?
  6. Why am I not surprised at the track? Almost totally predictable bald track perfect for the fast starters. Curb crawler Smolinski to GP? Please to god no.
  7. Brits fail miserably with obvious track conditions. Giving up positions with ludicrous track moves. Awful track concrete with dust on top. Gate and stick to white line FFS!
  8. Think Havvy needs to look at the program more later in the meeting and keep his finger on what is happening. Little mistakes Mount up and are the difference between win and lose in a tight meeting. Berwick for example. We have three away meetings left and Havvy will do two of them.
  9. Havelock made the exact same mistake at Berwick giving an unwarranted ride to James Wright, when he had done nothing but Hume had scored well. He repeated the same error ladt night when it was obvious Cook was struggling and Hume was scoring. Thought he would have learned.
  10. I didn’t purchase it I was offered the chance to watch it and report on any bugs etc.. Yes it’s not officially live. The stream was excellent though with a commentator and guest rider from Berwick. A few very small gremlins but to be honest it was good enough to pay £12 for and no one would have been disappointed. Four camera production with full colour graphics which would Shame Eurosport.
  11. If I watched the meeting I can write a report on it, surely? You do realise everyone laughs at you, don’t you? You come across as an utterly jealous uneducated plonker who can’t spell basic words.
  12. Well done Redcar, when it went slick we had no answer. A point but should have dug in for 3. And again in heats 13 and 15 we are wanting again. Have we ever had an advantage over these two heats? This time we had 1 and 3 and 2 and 4 and were comprehensively beaten out of the tapes on both occasions. Not acceptable. This is what happens with no Middlo. For Poole Schlein was woeful. Never at the races. Outgated by Rowe and couldn’t do anything about it. Basso did possibly better than expected. Going to be a good’ in. Worrall was excellent but outgated in heat 15. Neilsen did his job but wasted a point in heat 7 when pipped at the line after looking around. Head down throttle open. King was good but nowhere off gate 4 in heat 13. Missed it again in heat 15. Cook looked tentative and nervous all night. Not surprising as he pranged himself badly there a few weeks ago Hume battled all night but fell when in third. For Redcar, Wright, Allen and Toft were solid backed up by a good’un in Rowe. The big crowd go home happy. The video stream was excellent top marks. No buffering, good commentary. Just a couple of issues with graphics which improved through the night.
  13. There was no dust of any consequence after heat 4. Track was watered then and the dust was negligible. Certainly is was underwatered before the meeting though, as I said on here last night.
  14. Pirates full strength for the first time in ages. Ben Basso makes his debut at 2. Ben Cook and Danyon Hume at reserve. All riders in decent form. Should be an absolute belter. Wish I was coming up but not this time. Very hard to call could be very close and go either way. Our heat leaders need to tighten up in heats 13 and 15 though.
  15. Tosh by name, speaking tosh by nature. Basso is a young up and coming Dane who is already beating riders with a proven track record in his home country. Cones highly recommended by Klindt amongst others. Only has to average around 4-5 to be a success in the tricky number two berth, and with Ben Cook banging in the points at reserve could end up down there as a trump card. Think he will really like the Poole track and looking forward to seeing him next week against Newcastle. Provided we steer clear of injuries we are going to be there or thereabouts come the pointy end of the season. Looking very good indeed.
