  1. Poor managing going on on the Pirates side of the pits. And poor ride from King there.
  2. Cook got third but lost it trying to get second. Good effort again and once dialled in at home will be quite exciting to watch.
  3. Pirates showing lack of track knowledge. Being mullered out the gate with little passing. Chasing shadows.
  4. Great from young Ben Cook! Didn’t expect that! And wasted in the next.
  5. Works perfect. iPad Pro to Sony smart tv. Use an apple product and airplay to tv.
  6. One ambulance gone into pits. The other is still on apex of first and second bend.
  7. Ends the meeting as competitive. A shame but most important is rider welfare. They really are taking their time here.
  8. He is clearly out of the meeting. IRR but never going to cover our number one.
  9. Crash on first bend between Schlein and Cook. Ambulance coming on track. Cook up. Medics attending Schlein. Schlein still down. Reckon he got some whiplash. Second ambulance now coming. Looks like he is out the meeting with leg injury. Hope it’s not serious.
  10. Just gone live. Picture looks very good. And………..the tapes fail!
  11. Well got the feed via chrome then airplay to my smart tv. All systems go!
  12. https://m.vk.com/video-53550004_456241009?list=810e9fbbb171c14462&from=wall-53550004_32666
  13. And how much could streaming the meeting have generated for those unable to get in or those KL fans unable to make the trip, and neutrals around the world? Another opportunity goes begging.
  14. So what’s the prediction for this evening? Three of our riders have not ridden the track. Both Schlein and King were poor last night. I am sticking my neck out on a 48-42 and hopefully grab a bonus point. That is being hopeful though.
  15. Second meeting Kerr and Lawson snatched a 5-1 in heat 15 to win in the space of 5 days.
  16. Interestingly last nights meeting at Voyens in Denmark was also called off after a few heats due to an unfit track. And they don’t have dogs!
  17. Remember Poole’s Jon Gould crashing at Berwick and his bike cleared the fence! Luckily no one standing there. So it’s 30 years since the teams have met.
  18. This is the first meeting in a long time between these two teams. Raking my brains to remember when Berwick rode at Wimborne Road. Was it when Tatum and Blixt were in the team owned by criminal Terry Linden? Or did we meet in an interview league meeting? Either way a long time back. Hopefully the weather will play fair and we will have a capacity crowd (under covid regs) and be treated to a good entertaining meeting. Some of the team have never rode the track in anger but did get some practice in last week. https://www.instagram.com/p/CPla28UAV5X/ Tickets now on sale and selling well. No pre-booked ticket no entry. https://poole-speedway.seatedly.com/events I believe all the Berwick riders have ridden Wimborne Road with Busk-Jackobsen an ex Pirate. Etheridge and Summers in particular know the track. Best opportunity for Berwick to get something before the Pirates get dialled in. Looking forward to it. Thoughts?
