  1. I haven’t see the footage but it sounds like Schlein made an inside lunge and Worrall tried to block. wolves look very strong in the remaining heats. That Worrall exclusion could well bite.
  2. And there goes the meeting...... we are throwing away too many points again. A 3-3 in heat 4 turned into a Wolves 5-1 and a Poole 5-1 in the last turned into a 3-3.
  3. Not at all. Been a fair amount of passing listening to the radio commentary.
  4. Wolves 3 5-1s on the bounce. Looks like they are now dialled in. Good while it lasted.
  5. Poole luck has run out. Brady again throwing away points, just like Peterborough.
  6. I would agree with all of that. The track wasn’t good. We all know that but the expected venom thrown on this thread was as expected. The track at Swindon last bank holiday evening was far worse than last night and caused Doyle to withdraw with an injury. Wasn’t on tv though for everyone to witness. Wimborne Road is a fantastic racetrack. We all know that. I hope the work about to be undertaken brings it back to its best.
  7. Exactly. He stuck his screwdriver in on the first bend, deflated it and a poor young yank paid the price!
  8. Tatum’s fault. Went around vandalising it before the meeting by sting a bloody screwdriver in it!
  9. What a strange thing to say. What on earth is a cart dealership? The track work is reported to be starting this week. I am not in the country so can’t pop down to take a look but from what I can gather proper heavy equipment is being bought in and fresh new shale laid. Guess we will find out if it’s an improvement next home meeting. As for tonight, a good solid win against a full strength Wolves team who have gone backwards bringing in Thorssell and Morris. Should have kept their other 1-7.
  10. Very easy in the end. Wolves poor to be honest. Not a good meeting and lets all hope the upcoming track improvements get the track back to where it was before. Special mention to Klindt who was sensational. Hope Jack is OK. Another mention to Becker who was good value and deserved heat 15.
  11. What a fantastic backs to the walls performance from Pirates. Against all the odds after losing our number one in heat one, the rest of the boys rallied in difficult conditions to pick up the three points. Well done to the whole team. Now to sort out the track.
  12. And you will pick up the £20,000 shortfall? Clubs can’t afford to reduce prices.
  13. Not defending the track just putting the facts out there. Doyle injured himself on the first bend at Blunsdon in the evening meeting. Fell at Poole but not injured. The Pole fell at Poole but was already injured with Rosco telling him not to ride before the meeting. Didn’t have the strength to hold on.
  14. Neither got injured at Poole. Doyle was injured in the evening meeting at Swindon and Musielak the week before in Poland.
  15. I won’t be there to watch it as I am enjoying a lovely break in the French alps but will try and get a good WiFi connection to watch online. Sod’s law it will be a buffering nightmare to watch.
  16. Feel the meeting on Monday could be very entertaining. Pretty sure that some on here will see the slightest rut/bump as a reason to slag off the track but Poole normally produces decent to excellent racing and I see no reason why the BT meeting will be a disappointment.
  17. Good news for me its off. Sitting here in 25 c having a barbeque in Annecy. Hopefully wifi decent enough for the meeting on Monday.
  18. You do realise “extensive work” means a lot of work to the track, not tinkering, don’t you?
