  1. Horrendous crash. Bike cleared fence spinning in air. Emil and Buckowski. Lucky bike missed everyone.
  2. Belle Vue won’t get a gp Until Cardiff sells out. Which would be never.
  3. Deserved winner in Zmarzlik but bloody poor gp overall imo.
  4. Where’s our resident trolling Pole who said Lambert was completely out of his depth?
  5. Not the best of tracks. Hopefully we will see some good racing later as the meeting goes on.
  6. Two good meetings. Though the Toruń comeback was excellent. Jack Holder improving by the week. A couple of years and the GP could beckon.
  7. Absolutely no way would I support 5 man teams. Has to be 7 man teams with the points limit set between championship and premiership. A second league for the lesser championship teams who can expand the national development league. The problem is finding extra riders. Currently there are not enough to go between the two league without doubling up.Using young NL British riders will help. Sure, some will be out of their depth while others will thrive. Polish Extra league has u21 6 and 7 regardless of ability who stay there even if they are world champion. We should take the same mentality. Seven teams is no good. Not enough variety or meetings.
  8. Freddie is already on record stating he is far too busy to come over this season.
  9. If we were full strength last night we would have won easily. We picked up a paltry 10 points from Brady and Klindt rides. Our 1-7 is fine if they are all there. Both Brady and Jack have shown stride forward this year. Bar a couple of riders they are as good as any other heat leader in the league. And Josh has shown fine form in recent meetings. Nothing to worry about and we will make the playoffs. From there it’s anyone’s chance to win it. Last season I thought we were weaker than this year and look what happened. We will be there when it matters.
  10. If it was mandatory that reserves had to be British u21s, that would be a great step forward. It was disgraceful that it was dropped a couple of seasons ago. Bring on our own talent. We will benefit in the long term.
  11. Been touted by Gary May as well. Said Somerset would definitely prefer one league. The downside is riders like the top riders Doyle would be lost. Can you imagine the remaining top guys wanting to turn up at the more remote tracks? The quality would probably sit somewhere a bit better than the current championship level.
  12. Run the team given to him on the night. And he does this very well most of the time.
  13. He probably would have been booked at Blunsdon on Monday night before any comments came to light. Totally agree with your second point. The real Poole 1-7 is very good and easily going to make the playoffs.
  14. Special mention to Josh G and Jack. Both excellent tonight. Josh rode his heart out and although the gates went against him in heat 15 he battled in every heat. One of his best meetings this season. As for Jack Holder, he is now starting to show his potential. Seems to have a duff first ride then click into gear. Did the same in Monday and at Blunsdon after his first ride was quite brilliant.
  15. Perhaps they weren’t aware of his comments. Pulled up in his first after 2 laps, ran a poor last in his next, then was replaced before managing a win. Then ran a poor last.
  16. Track was much better. Still bumpy but no dust. Watered properly. No fallers except first bend bunching. Good racing from about heat 6. As for Tungate. He usually musters about 4-6 at Poole. Think r/r brought them 9. Worth having him not turn up!
  17. Like I said an opportunity for Peterborough which they took due to inept guests and r/r for Brady picking up 7 points. Congrats to Panthers on their win. They took advantage of the situation that was presented to them. Ellis. Why on earth did he take the booking when on Monday he said the track was dangerous and a rubbishe hole? Terrible effort. 3 points. Klindt has never scored so lowly. I know riders want to earn but if he was so critical of the track three days earlier he should have turned the booking down. Starke battled for paid four and although it’s less than Busk would probably have scored at least he tried. Can’t criticise the effort he put in. Brady was of course irreplaceable. 7 points scored half of what Brady would probably have picked up. Those are the breaks and Panthers were right time right place. Decent crowd tonight. Racing was good after the first 5-6 heats, with lots of passing. No dust at all and although the bumps were present it didn’t affect he riders. Only fall was first bend bunching. Poole beaten time and again out of the tapes. Seems to happen every week. Ref wanted to make a name for himself. If riders were not absolutely read at the tapes when the clock hit zero he excluded. Nicholls was first to go. Harsh I thought. Then a few heats later Covatti got the same treatment as he was a bike length back from the tapes rolling forward when the clock hit zero. Red light and out. So he was consistent. We need to be able to put out our 1-7. We are dropping points through no fault of our own and it’s frustrating. Hopefully we will be back to full strength next week, though I won’t be there or the meeting the following week, so no reports from me!
  18. Poole look stronger? You must be on a windup. Opportunity here for Peterborough they would never have had if Poole were with their 1-7.
  19. There’s no denying that the BV track is the best in the league. Easy to heap praise on a good new track. But we all remember the cess pit next door which often produced diabolical racing. There’s no doubt the track will be better tomorrow night. For starters the track staff won’t have the mid day meeting issues of warm sun and wind which causes the dust. I do know the promotion are trying to fix the track issues. How long it will take to source everything is anyones guess.
