  1. Glad he wasn’t considered for a place. Too inconsistent. Average too high. I thank him for his efforts last season though, especially the semi final.
  2. Looks like Instead of collapsing mid season and failing to make the playoffs like last year, Swindon are making sure they won’t have that disappointment in 2019 by a determined effort of a place in the bottom three.
  3. No big number one for Poole in 2019 unless a 7 pointer steps up to the plate.
  4. You just have to suck it up that you won nothing. Can’t recall many saying Poole were the best in 2010 when we finished 24 points clear of Coventry. Injuries happen. You can enjoy the fact that KL had a good season by their standards but were blown away when it mattered.
  5. To busy with work and holidays. Can’t be bothered with all the speculations and rumours.
  6. Don’t think we will have a big hitting number one.
  7. Jack Holder and BWD were having “a slight disagreement” with each other and Gary had to sort it out by threatening to sack both.
  8. Not true at all. May had to threaten him with the sack.
  9. Thought Somerset had more ambition but seems not. Really needed 8 teams to be honest. Havent been to Ipswich or Peterbourough for several years so will look forward to that, though much further to travel.
  10. So in the very near future will we see a convoy of flatbed lorries heading from South Wales will sections of prefab stadium? I somehow doubt it. I don’t believe there is any parts of stadium in South Wales, or anywhere else for that matter. Just bluff and bluster from Stadia UK to get the houses built and get out. At least the council have suddenly grown a pair and said no more houses until the stadium is built. That has chucked a cog in the works,

  12. Mike. Again you have not read my post properly. My first sentence says, “I can understand people not being able to get time off work.....” Most people can afford £75 for a playoff final trip. And it would be much less if the fuel was shared. Whether people would want a 11 hour round trip to Kings Lynn is a different argument when it’s on TV.
  13. That I am most certainly not. But as you are desperate for some end of season “Do” perhaps you will put you hand in your pocket to pay all the airfares?
  14. Give Matt a ring and tell him you will organise it.
  15. Its a fact that every generation is better off than the previous generation. Who doesn’t own a smart phone? 20 years ago many didn’t even own a mobile.
  16. Never said that at all. I said that some couldn’t have made it due to work commitments. And others might be on benefits.
  17. Most families have 2 cars. A big flat screen tv. Sky and BT. 2 holidays abroad every year. Weekly visits to Wagamamas or Nandos. People have never had it so good.
  18. Good news that the club are finally getting the new track marked out and work started. The current track has produced diabolical racing in recent seasons. A new 300 metre track is needed with the right shape. Hope they don’t do a Leicester and put in something just as bad. Finger crossed.
  19. Doing things right in life? What is £75? Dinner for 2 at an average restaurant? Just over half a tank of fuel? A pair of cheapish jeans? A new shirt? A months subscription to Sky?
  20. I don’t believe that. I can understand people not being able to get time off work but not being able to afford it? Wouldn’t cost more than £75 with fuel and entry. If someone can’t afford that they should look seriously at where they have gone wrong in life and make changes. People today are better off than they have ever been. Not aimed at people on sickness benefit.
  21. What to go to Kings Lynn? Anyone could afford to go, surely?
