  1. Having read that, hopefully the racing is as good on Monday with BT there. Nearly every time I have been there the racing has been mediocre.
  2. Thing with Blunsdon is that the Swindon riders know how it rides and are very hard to beat out of the gate around there. Time and again they are set up to lead going into the first bend, leaving the opposition for dead. Then it’s basically a spread out four laps. If you can gate them you have a chance, but that’s not easy to acheive.
  3. Belle Vue know they have to win tomorrow at Swindon. They have to be all guns blazing. Cook needs to continue where he left off tonight and..... oh hang on a minute..........
  4. Think those bv fans might change their mind after tonight.
  5. That’s given a few fans from Swindon and Lynn a squeaky bum tonight!
  6. Well done Belle Vue! What a turnaround from Monday! Thank you very much from this Pirate fan. We remain top if the league for another 24 hours!
  7. Gives Kurtz a practice for Bank holiday Monday.
  8. Judging by post number 4on this thread it seems pretty clear that most think there should be no extention. And rightly so.
  9. This is a ridiculous thread. Neither team are guarenteed a place in the final.
  10. I would say the club should have planned better. No excuse this year to not have completed the fixtures on time. The weathers been fine. We are not overloaded with fixtures. There’s not been enough for gods sake! For those that fail to complete, tough!
  11. We have had a long dry summer. No reason to extend at all. Clubs could have planned better to fit fixtures in gefore panicking as time ran out. Think back to all those weeks when no fixtures were run. The playoff dates should not be moved imo. Clubs should simply plan their fixtures better.
  12. Absolutely nothing to do with Poole. Just the intransigence of the Lynn promotion to seek a remedy with Somerset.
  13. Every available date before the cutoff. Lynn management said no to every one. Source is pretty good.
  14. Kings Lynn have refused all dates Somerset have offered them before the cutoff. If the meeting isn’t run before the cutoff neither team will benefit. Zero points to either team.
  15. The water on the track before heat one was because it had been watered with hoses before the meeting. They never watered it after 6.30 when the gates opened. Note there was no dust during the meeting and no watering either.
  16. That was the best league meeting on bt this season. Christ knows what you would rate the other televised meetings at.
  17. Desperately sad news. Watched him ride on tv recently. RIP.
  18. Hate to think what you would make of the Polish commentators on NSport who have shreiking orgasms over the mike about a from the gate 3-3.
  19. Josh or Nicolai to reserve for the playoffs? Can’t be bad.
  20. Let Iversen ride on the billiard table of Kings Lynn with gate and go every week. Lynn fans have been moaning all season about a lack of passing around Saddlebow. Wimborne Road is far far smoother than it was at the start of the season. The day of rain of Sunday made a couple of areas spongy, but to be honest why on earth would we want a billiard table of a track? It’s dirt track racing, not F1. If riders like Iversen moan and whinge about it, keep it as it is for extra home advantage! Don’t make it easier for the away team to ride. Sure a couple of bumps appeared last night but so what?
