Swindon v Poole. Prem B. 27/8/18. 7.30pm

What is Poole’s record at Swindon? Answer is, not very good. We tend to implode around heat 10 and come away losing by 8. It will probably be the same tomorrow night though there is not too much playing on it. As long as we pick up something tomorrow from the 2 meetings the playoffs are done. -

Thats the problem with riders like Fricke. They don’t realise the throttle goes both ways and the speed of the bike was more than his ability. -

It was at Leicester. Do you have a clue about any of this event as so far you have proved yourself to be completely ignorant of every single fact so far! -

Lindback rode one meeting then failed to show saying he had belly ache. Andersen was out for the season. We went to Wolves with no main heat leader. -

No he didn’t. He attempted to ride in one meeting but his broken hand was too painful and his season was over. It was so bad it affected the start of the following season. We ended up going to Wolves with r/r and ran out of steam in the last few races as we had no heat leaders. Kyle Newman rode his socks off to keep us in it. If Andersen had been fit he would have ridden. The x-ray photographs showed how bad it was. His problem was not being able to drop the clutch at starts. He even tried using his other hand but failed. -
It takes approx 3.5 hours from Poole to Leicester. However, the area is packed out with weekenders who will all be heading home on Monday afternoon/evening. If the meeting runs smoothly, it should be completed by 2.30. But with the amount of rain we have had today the start “might” be delayed. If it runs on time he will be on the road by 2.45/3pm. If it’s clear he will be at Leicester by 6-6.30. If the roads are bumper to bumper through the New Forest and M27, then joining the M3 to the A34, he will be in trouble getting to Leicester on time.

Talking out your arse as usual. 2016 no replacements our season was ruined. Andersens season over caused by an out of control Fricke. -

He tried to make a comeback but lasted two races. Was out for the season thanks to a completely out of control, wild Fricke smashing into him. The xrays of his break were clear for all to see. -

Holder can have 5 rides inc heat 15, plus an r/r ride, plus using a r/r ride as a t/r. So Holder is likely to have 7 rides tomorrow if Somerset find themselves 6 down. Alternatively one of Lawsons r/r rides can be used by Doyle as a t/r, so any way you look t it Somerset are better off without greebo. Holder, Doyle, Covatti and Summers. -

Lawson r/r means more points for Somerset. Even Holder can take a ride. Plus a t/r if needed. So 7 rides for Holder? Summers and Covatti also get a ride. Surely better than Lawson. The form of the two reserve guests in the championship show plenty of double figures. Both Jakobsen and Woryna need to be on it from heat two. With all the rain today I expect the track to be heavy and deeper than usual. Get there early. Big crowd expected and car park will be fully very early as will the grandstand. -

It seems unfair, but Belle Vue will have to suck it up like Poole and Wolves did in the last couole of seasons. Rather than try and get special dispensation, the rule could be changed this coming agm so that in the condition that a rider is seriously injured and it is season ending, a guest can be used. -

Those two guest reserves are better than Allen and BWD, looking at their championship scores. As for greebo missing, he rarely does much at Poole so Somerset could yet again benefit. Edit Skidder just beat me to it. The track is getting one hell of a watering today. Might need the track staff in when it stops to pump all the water off and give it a chance to dry overnight. -
He has gone through a very tough two seasons which would have devistated most people in normal jobs. There is no ending in sight and it has wrecked his career and personal life. No wonder he is where he is.

It is crap when injuries happen at the end of the season. Can’t think of a worse case than Wolves losing both main heat leaders for the playoffs last season. The rules have never allowed for signings after the cut off. They should for serious injuries, but were Wolves allowed to sign replacements last season for the playoffs? -

No its r/r. Rotten time for an injury. A precedent has been set in previous seasons. Wolves last year or Poole a few years ago with Darcy. Had to go into the playoffs with r/r. -

Seriously rotten luck for the lad and Belle Vue. Wishing him a speedy recovery.
