  1. But you were not within 100 miles of Poole. You are in your bedroom in somewhere like Peterborough. You have never been to Poole. You talk utter crap. Utter utter crap.
  2. No but we would have won tonight at least. Think the team were beaten when they realised Somerset had been gifted another heat leader in the team. Well done to Somerset who gave us the perfect lesson in gating in heats 2,3,4 and 5. If it wasn’t for Klindt managing to get up to second it would have been 4-20 in those heats. Somerset left us for dead over the first 20 metres. This happened earlier this season but recently our form has improved. We have ridden quite well recently taking bonus points away from home. So this is a disappointing result. Absolutely tons of dirt on the track tonight. Is that the problem? At least we saw Pirates battle back from 12 down to take it to a last heat decider. Trouble is no Chris Holder to beat Doyle. Brady tried and rode well tonight but Doyle is world champ. Woryna came good after two terrible first rides where he was searching for setup. Found it and was excellent. The trouble is we have a team of middle order riders. They are middle order for a reason. A good meeting followed by a poor one. They clicked together against Kings Lynn, but there’s always two or three in the team having a poor night on a different night, so no consistency. Heard rumours of a change for next week against Belle Vue. Have to wait and see. Congrats to Somerset on their passage through to the next round.
  3. Then go back and look its about 2 or 3 posts later.
  4. I talk to Middlo every week. Known him for a long long time. Middlo will be in the bar after the meeting. Get back on your bike and come on back. I am sure he would like to hear your opinions. Or is it too far to cycle from the other side of the UK?
  5. As I said earlier, that was before Vissing was missing. No chance once all the somerset team could take aride for a rider who wouldn’t have scored.
  6. MFF you are so full of crap. You have never been to Poole. Your Bedroom is the closest you get. Idiot of the highest order.
  7. MFF where are you? I am wearing an Addidas blue shirt. Just behind starting gate. Have texted Neil telling him you want to tell him a few “home truths”. Come on don’t be shy. Here’s your chance.
  8. Missed the start and chasing shadows. Somerset out the traps and gone. Fast times tonight on very good track.
  9. Mff I am bythe starting gate. Why don’t you walk around and join me. I will then introduce you to Neil after the meeting at the conference where you can tell him what you think of him and ask him to resign. You up for it?
  10. Posted before the news broke of Vissing missing allowing the whole team to take a ride. Somerset so much faster out the starts. Into the first bend two bikes up on our boys. No consistency at all. Belle Vue will whop us next week if we turn up like this. But well done to the Rebels fully deserved.
  11. Well the source who told me will most certainly know. Very sad. Hope they can come back next season on a night they feel happy with.
  12. Sad to hear Rye have folded. All results expunged I guess. Sorry for the fans that did bother to turn up and the riders out of pocket.
  13. I believed Poole would have got through tonight had Vissing rode. The fact that everyone including the world champ can take a ride swings it completely. I struggle to believe Vissing would have scored a point this evening.
  14. Vissing has been bought in for one sole purpose. Not be available tomorrow at Poole so Doyle, Holder, greebo and bwd can take his rides ensuring Somerset get past Poole in the KO cup. A week or so after that his services will be dispensed with.
  15. I like Rosco. Always have. But Middlo is a far, far better manager.
  16. He should have had an extra ride in retrospect but I spoke on the phone during the meeting to Rob who Was there and he said Woryna wasn’t on it at all. That was until heat 14.
  17. Good point but could have been more. Yet again riders misfiring. This time Worrall and Linus.
  18. When Poole were there Howarth got a similar roller which everyone saw but the ref. It cost Poole the meeting.
  19. How is he second in the averages? edit. Just looked at current gs. So Vissing is riding in Denmark? Makes it game over over 2 legs now. Sign a rider on a high average knowing they can use Doyle and Holder. Then probably ditch him afterwards as job done. Vissing wouldn’t have got near a point on Wednesday. oh well just have to win the league instead.
  20. Richard Lawson, bwd and the reserves can take his rides. Makes them stronger though.
  21. Nothing to do with 2010. I took a break two years ago due to too much work and the forum was an unnecessary distraction. Wasn’t posting the year Pirates beat Belle Vue in the final.
