  1. He isn’t beating what is in front of him. Nearly all riders are in front of him!
  2. Yep they can swap teams. Not sure Wright is any better than Grazonek though.
  3. Don’t think Garys reputation has taken a dent. Did the right thing when a rider acts like a brat. You can’t tell your boss to eff off when taken out of a heat As for Allens dropped points, they were both self inflicted so it was frankly hilarious when he came out on the centre green to be interviewed. First of all he got a puncture by hitting the kick boards. Who put the bikes wheel on the kick boards? He did ! Secondly his chain came off causing him to fall. Whose fault is that? His or his mechanics! Should have checked the tension on the chain. No doubt that Somerset were worthy winners though.
  4. I agree that Grazonek needs a face to face with Matt Ford. So he can be given his marching orders. Been crap all year with no signs of improvement. Had all the time needed to sort himself. No more.
  5. Jack holder brought being booted out of Poole on himself, the same as Wright at Somerset. He most certainly wanted and expected to stay and was in disbelief when Matt Ford phoned him to tell him he wasn’t in his plans. Yoy reap what you sew. In fact knowing how he behaved he would have had his sorry ass sacked way before the end of the season if I was the owner. As for Hans, he was riding like a journeyman last season and not leading from the front. Seemed happy to settle for the points he had coming off the second bend and it was time to try someone else. Sundstom is now riding well and that’s not our issue. Josh G is riding like a reserve. That’s our problem. And unable to bring in CH has put a huge burden on Kurtz which he struggles to deal with at times due to lack of experience.
  6. Well just got back. Result was never in doubt even though it went down to heat 15. The problem is we don’t have a Chris Holder figure to win heats when it matters. We were never going to get anything out of 13 and 15. In heat 14 Sundstrom rode an absolute blinding defending ride to bring home the bonus. The team as a whole rode well, except Kurtz and Grazonek who were worse than abysmal. Off the pace all night, or riding team mates wide to allow a Somerset reserve though. We were lucky to get a point as Somerset through away 2 5-1s as riders had a puncture or fell last bend. Grazonek needs to go. Sorry but he just hasn’t improved and tonight on a track he knows well, he was woeful.
  7. His two points were won by riding spanner out to allow a 3-3 to go to a 4-2 to somerset. Both Josh and Brady have been woeful tonight. Thank god Woryna has shown some mettel. Dont think we will get a point tonight.
  8. Coming up for this tomorrow evening. Weather seems set to be dry so good news. Somersets changes are interesting. Wright at the Oak Tree was a good scorer so will be missed. Vissing is decent but it will be his first meeting. At the other end Covatti no doubts strengthens Somerset at reserve. What they lose in the 1-5 they make up in the reserve berth. Does it make Somerset weaker? Possibly tomorrow but not by much. If we turn up in a determined mood I think we will come away with a point, which would be a good improvement on our first visit. It would be disappointing to go home empty handed.
  9. I see KK is bringing his Poole 2017 form to Rye tonight.
  10. The situation with Somerset has come about for a number of reasons and the home meeting against Wolverhampton was unfortunately, the nail in the coffin. Most people will be aware on the night that there was a problem with the starting tapes being uneven at the start of the meeting. In my first race, I was off gate 4 and there wasn’t enough dirt on the track for me to make a comfortable pass and I came last. I was told by Garry I would be taken out of my next ride and replaced by Doyle, at this point we were running a 6 point deficit and I felt it was unfair to remove me from my race when I knew I could go out and win it. I told Garry in no uncertain terms that I wasn’t happy with his decision and we had a heated exchange of words in the pits. I’ve had one off meeting (at Swindon) and the repercussions of that has been the threat of the sack, for a month. I shouldn’t have to feel apprehensive about turning up to a meeting knowing it might be my last. Part of my reasoning for disagreeing with Garry is not only the way I have been treated but also how other team mates have and it wouldn’t be healthy for me to continue in the same way. I am not happy about being made out to be a disruptive person, with a bad attitude or a perpetrator of negative team spirit. The Somerset press release is completely inaccurate but that’s the only way they can lay the blame on me. I won’t criticise anyone’s character in the same way, I am better than that. I turn up to the track with immaculate bikes and a positive mental attitude, I don’t go out there to score poorly and anyone who knows me will know I give 100% both on and off the track. My scores this season reflect that effort, both for Somerset and for Sheffield. I attempted to make amends with Garry, to be the bigger person. But really, there is no going back from what has happened and subsequently was sacked by text message while racing in Poland. There has been a complete lack of respect and I for one, do not feel the criticism and defamation of character I have received is warranted. I have been exceptionally loyal to Somerset and have enjoyed my time there over these past 6 years but unfortunately, loyalty and respect are both qualities that have been lost. I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who made my time at Somerset as great as it was, and to the fans for getting behind me meeting after meeting. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t saddened by the situation but everything happens for a reason and I hope this outcome will bring bigger and better things for me. It’s water under the bridge, I’m not going to dwell on it. I just want to get on my bike, stick it in the dirt and ride the boards. Charles
  11. Why would Poole be interested in Charles Wright? Second string rider and we have better.
  12. Guys, Track Prat is nothing more than a moronic brainless troll with nothing intelligent to say. Lets just all hit the report button and get rid of this excuse of a person. His posts on here prove he is clearly a troll.
  13. Absolutely. Showing flashes of his ability but like Magic when he came over it takes a little time. Destined for the top imo.
  14. Hey Track Prat, Plymouth 46 44 Coventry. Just thought you would like to know.
  15. Go to 19.34 to see Kacsper show his skill. From last night in Poland.
  16. A better race than heat 12 shown previously on the official site.
  17. You are happy might be missing through injury? Disgraceful to be honest.
  18. Certainly would need Brady to ride as he is a track specialist at Somerset. Hope his fall has left nothing more than a couple of bruises.
  19. KL fan looking for excuses. Track was good except for a bit of dust after the interval. Worralls last to first in heat 15 proving it.
  20. And Holder hasn’t? Both have been good servants to British speedway, Holder possibly more so than Iversen, who chucked EL for a season.
  21. Suprised the KL fans haven’t turned on him like they did CH. Holder had well documented personal problems, which are still ongoing, but the KL fans gave him no slack at all. And he was doing a far better job than Iversen has done for them this season. With Iversen doing well in Poland on Sunday, why was he so rubbish last night?
