  1. Gavan, Worrall averages 6.5. R/R would have covered that no problem. That’s his average at Poole. No point arguing with me the stats prove it.
  2. Its not r/r. Belle Vue have booked Lawson as a guest. As Lawson scored highly in his last meeting at Poole (the same as Worrall) your logic says Belle Vue are just as strong.
  3. Worralls previous meetings at Poole. 2017. Steve Worrall - 1, 3, T/R-6, 3, 2, 1 = 16 Steve Worrall - 0, 2*, 2, 0 = 4+1 Steve Worrall 3 1* 3 1* = 8+2 2016 Steve Worrall - 1*, 2, 3,0 = 6+1 At reserve. 7. Steve Worrall - 1, 3, 2, 3, 3, 0 = 12 2015 At reserve. 6. Steve Worrall - 1 , 1 , 0 , 1' = 3+1 At reserve. 6. Steve Worrall - 2, 1*,1, 1.= 5+1 At reserve. 6. Steve Worrall - 2, 1, 1, 3, 0 = 7 That gives him an average of 6.59 at Wimborne Road. And his best score was against the poorest Poole team in years. Think its pretty safe to say Gavan is talking out of his jacksee.
  4. Just stopped raining 30 mins ago. Been light rain all day. Tomorrow heavy rain is forecast giving way to an afternoon of sunshine and showers. Wednesday is a dry day with sunny periods.
  5. I mean, really it’s all farcical. What Worrall scored last year means nothing. How many times has a guest been booked because the last time they rode at a particular track they got a good score? Be suprised if Lawson repeats last years score. Worrall started the season in good form but we know he will likely end up with a 6. Something average.
  6. Richard Lawson’s last meeting at Poole Richard Lawson - 2 3 3 3 2 = 13 In Gavans world that surely means Belle Vue are now going to win. I mean, it’s not much if any different to Worralls last score with one ride less. Clearly now the same strength as if Worrall was riding.
  7. Bloody hell that was so long ago I swear I could see Charlie Chaplin walking across the center green.
  8. In an interview during the televised meeting in Poland yesterday Jack Holder said the personal issue (passport) might get a step closer to being resolved today as Chris has a meeting with some officials. Jack didn’t elaborate further but it seems we could be announcing CH back into the team very shortly.
  9. My mistake hands up on that post, though I did say Tungate a few posts before. Still, Gavan and a few have got their excuses ready if they get beat. Worrall would have gone through the card, beat Brady from the back while doing a wheelie and taking 2 seconds off the track record at the same time.
  10. Think you are being very generous Lisa. No chance of him scoring anywhere near double figures if he was riding on Wednesday.
  11. No it isn’t. Next you will be saying Poole only won because Worrall was missing. Comedy gold you couldn’t make this up.
  12. Not sold any mobility scooters this month? Ranting like a lunatic again. Speedway really isn’t as simple as you make out. But simple minds think it is.
  13. Shanesy got a maximum against Wolves last year. Doesn’t mean he will do it again. And how can you compare last years Poole team to this when there are only two survivirs? Looks like the ranting Gavan is back. Looking forward to an hilarious summer of fun.
  14. Lol! Steve Worrall is a third heat leader. You are making out he would have scored double figures on Wednesday. 6-7 points, possibly 8 but that should easily be covered. Cook and Fricke are better than Worrall, so thats 2 of the 4 heats likely to bring in more points than he would have scored. Starke, if used in the correct heat, would cover. What Bewley scores might take back the gains made from the Cook and Fricke rides. Belle Vue are not worse off with Worrall out. Now if they use a guest in say, Charles Wright, that might alter things. As for going on holiday, yes I am off to Bassano del Grappa on the 26th for a week. Looking forward to it already.
  15. Good sensible decision if very disappointing. Saves a lot of Poole fans a wasted journey. Pirates might get our season underway some time in May, at this rate.
  16. Lol! Fricke hates the place? Have you asked him? An u21 world champion. He should breeze around Wimborne Road. No excuses. Only a few weeks ago you were singing the praises of Tungate when he won the Aussie title. An Aussie champ should breeze around Wimborne Road. No excuses. Starke knows Wimborne Road like the back of his hand. Bewley is no slouch at Wimborne Road. Belle Vue are not affected by the loss of their third heat leader. It’s not as though they are missing Cook or Fricke. They have riders who can easily cover for their third heat leader, who you are making out would have got double figures!
  17. Davey Watt beat Lindgren arond Monmore and tied with him in another heat. However Davey Watt is retired now and living on the Gold Coast.
  18. Not looking good for tonight at all. Hoping for an early decision.
