Well he has just had a hugely successful popupnshop in Poole with tons of new merch, plus employed the same designer that Man City use, plus a new company for internet promotions/ twitter/ facetime/ etc. This years team looks like its going to be the team to judge others by and be very exciting. So I disagree that Matt is losing interest. I think Pirates will be back with a vengeance next season.

How many times does it have to be said that Pooles track was smoothed out last season?
-
Not talking about Dolphin center but down the high street.
-
I believe that the club could benefit from a permanent shop in the town.
-
Hancock replaced an injured rider. Woffinden replaced a rider who was performing to his ability.

Where are these rumours of gp riders being given an 8 coming from? -
Woffinden and Zagar are GP riders who do not have an average. Therefore they have been altered to reflect their station.
-
I moaned because Woffinden has no respect for British speedway and only used it for convenience once his Foreign commitments had finished. He had no interest in riding here but for some extra cash, but in doing so he basically gifted the title to Wolves. At least the Belle Vue fans told him what nearly everyone else thinks of him.

Funny how you never mentioned this once last season when Swindon signed Musielak.
-
Think its clear who voted for one over eight, looking at the way certain teams are being built on a tiny budget. Having said that, if two or three teams said they refuse to come to tapes in 2018 if that rule isn’t implemented, they have the rest of the clubs over a barrel.
-
Funny that in a space of a couple of weeks since that announcement of Woryna and Spanner, we have gone from “meh” and “uninspired signings”, “really mediocre”, “what a rubbish looking team”, “Poole have thrown the towel in again”, “Kennett and Lahti would have been better signings”, to “huge ringers” and Worynas average “an insult to his ability”. Woryna got his average by riding in this league. He has improved abroad but will that equate to a higher average here? We don’t really know how these two will do, though I hope they both do exceptionally well and score a bucket load for us.

Hi Neil merry Christmas and happy new year to you and your family. so if I am way off the mark, what is the mark?
-
The reason he wasn’t signed by Horton for the 2017 season was because Mick Horton didn’t rate him.
-
We were in the playoffs in 2017. And 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013............and we will be in the playoffs in 2018. Comfortably as the team is going to look superb.
-
No. Poole want him in the team. Problem was he wanted to ride with his brother who had been kicked out. Matt wouldn’t back down.
-
Sure he will. And within 4 weeks out of a job with no berths elsewhere. Think his wages will be performance tied, so up to him to earn a wage and pick up sponsors.
-
Best full team announced so far. Doyle and a couple of improvers in Allen and BWD. Strength at reserve as well to whip Swindon and Wolves at 6 and 7. Might be capable of making the playoffs. Interesting to see how the new Dane goes. They will be solid at home but perhaps lightweight on their travels.

I don’t think there’s any chance of that happening in 2018 with that Swindon lineup. Easy points for the Pirates next season.
-
Work was done on it last season where it was smoothed out. Or have you forgotten?
-
Jack will say anything negative at the moment as his nose has been put well and truly out of joint since he was told he was not going to line up for Poole in 2018. As for CH, I spoke to him the week after the Kings Lynn Poole meeting and he said although the Poole track is not smooth, it is consistent, you know it is safe and can turn a bike and race on it.
-
If that is the team it’s very, very, very Dads Army. Just like Swindon, I have to ask, where is the improvement going to come from? KK? He could easily turn out to be the Poole 2017 version. That lineup won’t win the title in 2018.
-
It doesn’t even it out at all! Having weak reserves is a disaster. Having a number one with a lower average means more strength in depth and stronger reserves!
-
Think Swindon are in competition with Wolves about who could get the weakest reserves! I see certain Swindon fans are in denial. Orion has said it as it is. swindon will be weilding the axe before the first set of gs come out.
-
Well he will have a chance against the Wolves pair. But both Swindon and Wolves are woefully weak at reserve.
