  1. All riders have blips. Holder in the semis at Monmore. Holder at Swindon. Even Rickardsson had the occassional mare. The extra points gained by sacrificing Holder for KK could prove crucial during the season. It gives us a reserve who can score points all the way through, whether its Klindt, Newman, Holder or Kurtz. With Chris in the team we would not have that luxury. With Kings Lynn going for Chris, it means Rose is in the top 5. Whilst that may be ok at home, away its a different story. Still, until I see that BV and Leicester teams, a top four of Poole, Rye House, Kings Lynn and perhaps Wolves looks likely.
  2. I am not ine to spend hours going back searching for the posts but it was reported on this forum on two seperate occasions last season, by Kings Lynn fans.
  3. Rattled my cage? Lol! I applaud the fact that Chis has got himself fixed up in the UK. It would have been a tragedy if he lost our to the new regs. Kings Lynn have a top world star. Whether he ever returns to Poole I have no idea but.I will continue to cheer him on in the GPs. He has probably just increased his fanbase by 100%. I am pretty sure most Poole fans will still continue to cheer him on in his attempt to reclaim a world title. I wish him the very best.
  4. Shortcomings? Struggling to see any actually given the points to play with. So you think its acceptable a rider is canoodling in the pits with his girlfriend between his races? Do you think its professional and acceptable?
  5. Fair point. If I was in Holders position I too would have remained in the UK.
  6. From what I heard it all stemmed back to last Christmas and New Year and Holder upset Matt with drunken behaviour at a party. The two have fallen out and not got on all season. Whilst they miht have had a professional relationship its no good continuing if you are niggling and whinging all the time. I have heard that Chris can be quite high maintenance. Perhaps a break can improve relationships and restore friendships.
  7. So Chris Holder and Troy Batchelor can come all the way to Kings Lynn from Australia, but Lambert can't make it from up the road? Poor show from the lad. Is he still going to be snogging his girlfriend in the pits between his heats or is Rob Lyon going to ban her as she is clearly a distracton. I for one wish Noddy the very best for 2017. I shall still support him in the GPs and hope he brings his A Game to the UK. Kings Lynn gave put together a much better team than last season. With a superstar in Holder leading the team lets hope the crowd respond and turn up in good numbers. They should make the playoffs if they ride to their ability. Good to hear Belle Vue and Leicester are running. Anything said about Coventry?
  8. Decent lineup should make top four if they steer clear of injuries.
  9. They are just trying to defend the undefendable.
  10. Shock! Horror! Probe! A local newspaper runs a sports story. Fans of the club he is going to are angry and annoyed. You couldn't make it up! Lol! Could you imagine Manchester Utd in secret talks with Rinaldo to return and the newspapers getting wind of it? Do you think they would sit on their hands and not report anything until there's a picture of him in a ManU shirt holding a scarf above his head? Some people need to get real with their faux disgust. Or are they completely green behind the ears?
  11. If Bale turned around and said, "sorry, I can't be arsed to play for Wales anymore, the rest of the team are not good enough. I want 70% of the player wages or I won't bother." I should imagine the majority of Welsh fans would be up in arms over his attitude. But that is exactly what happened with Woffinden and the SWC. Stevebrum goes on about him getting the biggest cheer at the British GP. Simply because for a lot of the fans who attend, it is their only meeting of the year. They have no idea of how he has acted towards British Speedway. The apologists can attempt to defend his actions but the rest of us have seen straight through him. Are you going to ride in the British final Tai? If not why not? Are you going to be part of TeamGB Tai? If not why not? Or is it all down to that Abba song? Money Money Money. Thats the reason he won't ride for TeamGB. He wanted a percentage of the winnings equivalent to his points. A real shame a British World Champion is held in such scant regard by the majority of British fans.
  12. If that is the team its not bad and could challenge depending if Batchelor has his mojo back.
  13. Best thing I have read on here for a while. However, it would have been better to have granted the testimonial so we could all boycott it to show how much British fans actually feel about our so called two times world champion, who doesn't give a toss about riding in or supporting this country. Are you riding in the British Final Tai? Are you riding for TeamGB in the SWC? No? Well why should we support some little tatooed sh*t who shows no respect to the country of his birth? Woffinden has to be the most unpopular British World Champion in the history of the sport.
  14. Surely thats the last worry. You have to have a stadium first to attach them to.
  15. Sounds almost identical to what I saw three or four weeks ago. Nothing really happening and a token workforce of a couple of guys in hardhats with a portacabin with dumper and jcb on site.
  16. I don't hate Sandhu at all. But if he sent in a bunch of men to take his property, the men should have been under instructions to to take what is his and certainly not go on a vandalism rampage, which has happened as can be seen in the newspaper published photos. Ultimately who were these men working for? If I sent paid some guys to take my property back and they trashed the place, I would be responsible as these people work for me. Lets see if Sandhu is good on his word and makes good the damaged caused.
  17. Nobody can blame Mick Horton for this. There's only one person responsible for the carnage seen in the photos. The devastation seen in the photos was done for only one purpose. To make sure it was impossible for speedway to continue. I wonder if it was possible for Horton to have a call to arms in January, where Bees fans could turn up on a weekend to help to get the stadium in some form of decency, at least to host racing even if it meant standing only. Fans could give their time for the good of the club. There must be a chippy, sparky etc in the fanbase who could give their time for a season ticket etc.
  18. I have Gavan on ignore (brilliant everyone should try it) but he has been requoted so many times over the last couple of pages I decided to read them. Utter troll trying to get a rise out of a couple of Poole fans who quote his dirge. Poole fans. The guy hates Poole and everything to do with the club. He is probably gutted Kyle Newman has signed for his supposed team. We Poole fans can see with our own eyes just how much Kyle has improved over the last few seasons. Averages don't give the whole story as injuries have most certainly got in the way of the major breakthrough. But here's a simple question. If Kyle Newman has shown no real improvement, how the hell is he still in the Poole team? How come Matt Ford hasn't decided it is time to replace him? Everyone knows Matt doesn't hang around with making changes. The answer is simple. Because he HAS been improving every year, is a great racer, gives 100% and by doing so is a massive favourite with the Poole fans. This Gavan troll can rant on and on to those that want to read his drivel, and always on Poole threads, but he doesn't have a clue. Especially if he actually believes Worral and Starke are better riders.
  19. It's If I sold a house but left the furnishings for the new owner, who was paying me a lease for the fixtures and fittings. This person then fails to sign a new lease so I go around and take my goods back. Oh, and I also smash a few windows, rip off the wall paper, pull all the wiring out of the walls and take some tiles off the roof. No suprise the police have now got involved.
  20. There isn't many of those with a premier league football club on our doorstep. But by doing it this way it gets maximum exposure, including South Today. They ran two stories on his signing.
  21. If you watched the interview with Matt Ford I posted here on Wednesday night you would understand how he runs his business and that all information us carefully organised to be released for maximum media exposure.
