Why on earth would Matt want to sign Hampel? Dreadfully boring gater who has past his prime and would probably cost a fortune. Matt is not a top payer, proved in the last couple of weeks when he has missed out on riders. But he pays on time. Pretty sure the team is done and dusted. Just using the media over the next few weeks to release signings for club exposure.

Not a Poole issue though as we are not using any new Poles.

He does it for reaction Lisa. Last year he spent the first half of the season slagging off Newman and Ellis, then had to backtrack faster than Lilly Savages wig flying off in a hurricane. He went on and on about Bates better than Adam, that Newman was just a reserve that never improves, then when he realised Ellis was in another league compared to Bates had to change his tune very quickly when it was obvious from the start Adam had far more potential. Now suddenly when Poole couldn't fit him in the team, he is the best young Brit out there! Lol! We have been saying that for months! And now he believes Hans is our number one! He's going to be pi55ed when he sees the lineup. Lol! Still, he will continue to troll the Poole threads. Just glad I don't read them unless they get quoted.

Pleased for Adam and gutted at the same time. Got loads of potential and going to be a top GB rider in the future. But more than happy he has a team berth. Would have preferred him riding for Poole though.

No. you read it completely wrong. He isn't saying what you think at all. He is saying what is the sport coming to in The UK? He is clearly not saying he wont be at Poole for his big meeting at the start of the season. Why would he junk that?

Crazy signing to be honest and a waste of a lot of points. As much as I would have liked to have seen Holder back, his average is way too high and takes up much needed points lower down the team. Swindons tail will be wagging the dog with 3 points at least gone down the swanny.

With the new stadium not even started yet and te season only 4 months away. Where the hell are people going to park next season, as te car park is where the new stadium is meant to take shape?

Its a jigsaw puzzle putting the pieces into place and you can't fit a square peg in a round hole. Adams average is too high to place him in the team Matt Ford has in his mind. In Matts mind while team building nationality doesn't come into the equation. Considering Matt Ford has prove in his tenure as owner of Poole Speedway is that he is the best at building title winning teams by the proverbial mile. Sure, he could fit in Adam, and most Poole fans would be very happy at his inclusion. But it could lead to an imbalance in another area of the side. No one should doubt Matt doesn't know what he is doing. I would not be at all suprised to see rival fans going into some type of meltdown if the team he wants to put together actually does come together.

Holder has gone. Not in Poole team for 2017. Matt looking for strength in depth with decent reserves, although one will probably be a 3. Andersen to lead the team, with Jack Holder, Kyle Newman, Brady Kurtz. Plus a 3 pointer. I do hope Ellis gets himself picked up. Rye House could be a good bet. Don't hang around Adam get on the phone to promoters straight away.

Agree 7 would be fine. But he has been given nearly 8. There are more experienced riders available with lower averages than Adam.

A ridiculous situation for the lad. The bspa are wrecking the career of a fine British prospect by saddling him with an average too high. His average should be adjusted down by the management committee so he can get a team berth somewhere.

Don't think so. I believe Brady is at Poole 2017. The bigger problem is for Holder. He has to ride here otherwise he wont have a work permit to be allowed in the country.

No point Holder considering bv. They have more important issues to deal with before forking out to Poole the loan fee on Holder then his wages/points money. If bv run I should imagine its a penny pinching lineup to scrape wins at home to keep the locals happy.

Hearing rumours of no Chris Holder in 2017. Too many points used up on one rider. Wish him well in his career, and hope to see him as a two time world champion.

Whilst Neilsen was the best rider at the time, the racing format was certainly easier for number ones, and didn't they pick which gate they rode from? Today the EL format means they get tougher rides.

Whats in a name? Its still top flight UK no matter what it is called. Pretty sure Sky would have been contacted about the name change and regardless of strength they want more teams in the league, not the bare minimum. Two new teams will please Sky I am sure. And considering they get the whole speedway season for probably the equivelent of showing Bury V Bolton, they can't moan. If they want the top stars they should pay for the privilege.
