Surely thats the last worry. You have to have a stadium first to attach them to.
-
Sounds almost identical to what I saw three or four weeks ago. Nothing really happening and a token workforce of a couple of guys in hardhats with a portacabin with dumper and jcb on site.

I don't hate Sandhu at all. But if he sent in a bunch of men to take his property, the men should have been under instructions to to take what is his and certainly not go on a vandalism rampage, which has happened as can be seen in the newspaper published photos. Ultimately who were these men working for? If I sent paid some guys to take my property back and they trashed the place, I would be responsible as these people work for me. Lets see if Sandhu is good on his word and makes good the damaged caused.

Nobody can blame Mick Horton for this. There's only one person responsible for the carnage seen in the photos. The devastation seen in the photos was done for only one purpose. To make sure it was impossible for speedway to continue. I wonder if it was possible for Horton to have a call to arms in January, where Bees fans could turn up on a weekend to help to get the stadium in some form of decency, at least to host racing even if it meant standing only. Fans could give their time for the good of the club. There must be a chippy, sparky etc in the fanbase who could give their time for a season ticket etc.

Corporate vandalism of the highest order.

I have Gavan on ignore (brilliant everyone should try it) but he has been requoted so many times over the last couple of pages I decided to read them. Utter troll trying to get a rise out of a couple of Poole fans who quote his dirge. Poole fans. The guy hates Poole and everything to do with the club. He is probably gutted Kyle Newman has signed for his supposed team. We Poole fans can see with our own eyes just how much Kyle has improved over the last few seasons. Averages don't give the whole story as injuries have most certainly got in the way of the major breakthrough. But here's a simple question. If Kyle Newman has shown no real improvement, how the hell is he still in the Poole team? How come Matt Ford hasn't decided it is time to replace him? Everyone knows Matt doesn't hang around with making changes. The answer is simple. Because he HAS been improving every year, is a great racer, gives 100% and by doing so is a massive favourite with the Poole fans. This Gavan troll can rant on and on to those that want to read his drivel, and always on Poole threads, but he doesn't have a clue. Especially if he actually believes Worral and Starke are better riders.

It's If I sold a house but left the furnishings for the new owner, who was paying me a lease for the fixtures and fittings. This person then fails to sign a new lease so I go around and take my goods back. Oh, and I also smash a few windows, rip off the wall paper, pull all the wiring out of the walls and take some tiles off the roof. No suprise the police have now got involved.

There isn't many of those with a premier league football club on our doorstep. But by doing it this way it gets maximum exposure, including South Today. They ran two stories on his signing.

If you watched the interview with Matt Ford I posted here on Wednesday night you would understand how he runs his business and that all information us carefully organised to be released for maximum media exposure.

A good track, yes, but inferior to Belle Vues.

King's Lynn Stars 2017
Steve Shovlar replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
First of all I am very pleased we haven't lost Chris Holder from the EL. He is one of the best riders in the world and Kings Lynn will soon discover a better rider than the rider he is replacing. Should Matt have kept Noddy in the Poole lineup? No. Not with the points teams have to play with. Without the x1.4, yes, but with it, it takes up too many team building points. Poole made the right call. It will be sad to see him riding elsewhere but rather that than lose him out of British Speedway. That 1.5 points will be massive in the scheme of things. Makes the team much more balanced. Interesting though when you compare Kings Lynn to Swindon, with the other big star, Kings Lynn look far more balanced. -
Wolves fans have only themselves to blame for te reason Klindt won't go back to wolves. And to add insult to injury he actually lives in Wolverhampton.

Four riders present plus Matt got interviewed as well.

So Swindon are trying to cheat by bringing in a rider on a lower average than his official one. Why does that not suprise me? CHEATING SCUMBAGS!
-
Will he ever ride for Poole though, or will Matt just take loan fees to make a profit? Not sure there will ever be room for him.
-
So that hand injury to Hans Andersen was a photo shop special? You couldn't make it up! I hope that Matt Ford and Hans are brought to task for knocking up a fake injury at a critical time of the season. Or perhaps Hans arranged for Fricke to pile into him so he would be out? Do you honestly think Poole didn't want to go into the semi without thier second heat leader? In the scheme of things Lindback is a better rider BUT he hadn't ridden either track in years. Andersen would always have scored more. And going to Wolves a main man down ended our chances. With Andersen we would have had a bigger lead from the first leg and a better chance of defending the lead. Anyone with a modicum of speedway knowledge would know this. I don't blame Wolves they only beat what was placed in front of them but the Poole team for the second leg was weak in the extreme and Wolves had it easy. I think you are either trolling or are lacking knowledge of the situation.
-
Yep. Injuries at the wrong time can wreck any teams chances.
-
Looking forward to tomorrow nights quiz night. Should be an interesting night with some good gossip.
-
Doesn't matter how you dress it up that team won't challenge Poole or even the old codgers at Rye House.
-
Hate to tell you this but Poole should wie te floor with this Somerset side. 60+ at Wimborne Road. Where are the heat winners going to come from? At Somerset obviously closer but no one to touch KK and the rest should enjoy the open spaces of the track, which they know well. One thing for sure. Two very big crowds. I do wish Gary May all the best but he will have his work cut out to avid humiliating thrashings on the road. If you want to believe that then fine. Think you will discover pretty quickly Poole on paper and on track are a far superior team. Struggling to see where Somerset will get heat advantages.
-
Tungate the final rider? If so can't wait for Poole to come visiting on hopefully very Good Friday.
-
When? Last season?
-
Just don't get it. Terrible looking team. Makes Leicester 2016 look like champions. BV and Leicester got to be better than this?
