  1. When Poole won the title a couple of years ago they suprised everyone by picking the team who had finished second. It would be a massive gamble for Belle Vue to pick Poole, considering we rode poorly tonight and only lost by 3. After the first halve dozen heats Poole started to get dialled in. Would Belle Vue risk us? I hope they would as I believe we would beat them over two legs. Got to say though there's no easy semi. If Belle Vue pick Swindon, then they have the worry that Swindon are riding on Wednesday so a freebpractice for setups. Perhaps its nice to to worry for a change and just try and beat who is put in front of us.
  2. If Matt thinks Hans injury won't allow him to ride to his full potential, then he should not ride. Look at Zeilena Gora and Hampel. He came back and cost his team a place in the final.
  3. I Said Zagar was in front of Holder when he had the ef. But I just doubt he would have stayed there due to the way Holder was riding tonight. Would have needed a gargantuan effort from Zagar and he didn't show that type of form tonight. Thought the crowd was decent for a Monday meeting on Sky.
  4. Agree it was a good meeting racing wise. The place should be packed not the grandstand a third full. With racing like that it should not be difficult to do.
  5. So Poole need to win at Kings Lynn tomorrow night to secure second in the league. Well worth it as, firstly, it gives us the second leg of the semi, and secondly, should Belle Vue fail to qualify for the final, it would give us the second leg of the final.
  6. Thought I had dozed off on the sofa and woken up after the playoffs. No Belle Vue are not League Champions. They have won the right to choose who they are going to meet in the playoff semis. They have won nothing else......yet.
  7. Belle Vue will be wanting Swindon to get through, and as they have now finished top, can gift a point to Swindon meaning they will finish 4th. Unlucky the way it falls for Lakeside, but Belle Vue actually have the choice of Swindon or Lakeside in their hands. Give a point to Swindon, then elliminate The tricky trip to Lakeside. And I would put my house on that happening.
  8. Middlo said tonight the Hans season was done, so I take that as regardless of Hans riding on Saturday in the sec, his league season is over and a replacement coming in. Guess we will know on Wednesday.
  9. Zagar was third and wasn't going well. Holder was right on him and I doubt Zagar would have been able to keep Holder out on tonigts form.
  10. The problem was it took us half the meeting to get our setups out the start sorted, just like the A fixture, and by then Belle Vue had cleared off. Frustrating we lost it on an ef in heat 14 but we were our own worst enemy at times with Bjarne blocking Newman and being a road block in another. Agree. His form dipped several weeks ago and has not recovered. But to lose by only 3 at the league favourites gives us hope. Just have to get past Wolverhampton, which is not going to be easy at all. In fact I would go as far as saying whoever comes through the Wolves/Poole semi will win the league.
  11. We ride absolutely dreadfully tonight, and an ef in heat 14 costs us victory. So so close. We have nothing to fear from Belle Vue. Three riders off form and we still could have won this. The only problem is, Wolves are a totally different kettle of fish.
  12. Nothing to do with evening itself out. Poole could have won it in heat 15. Gutted.
  13. Aaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Could have bought it right down to heat 15. Gutted.
  14. Christ almighty everyone can see the speed is out wide and Bjarne blocks Newman and makes it so easy for Jacobs. Major track racing blunders by Pedersen.
  15. Ref durno well done again on letting that roller go. You Are doing Poole proud yet again. And just like that Durno does not disappoint and pulls back when Newman does it.
  16. Middlo seems sure Hans season is over. Wonder who we have coming in?
  17. Ellis rode better on the bank holiday. Just not making starts. And that's why Bjarne is at reserve. No speed.
  18. He posted that earlier so he could come on here later and post how the favourites choked, how Ellis is crap, how Newman is crap etc etc etc.....yawn.
  19. Was hoping for a real ding dong meeting but Belle Vue are just killing us out the start and we are not getting a sniff. Not Belle Vue's fault they are slaughtering us. We are chasing shadows. Think its fair to say that the Belle Vue riders saying they have no home advantage is the biggest load of guff. Lol!
  20. It was a ridiculous comment. Would help if we could gate tonight. Shocking over the first 20 metres. Buck was crap on bank holiday, and crap tonight.
  21. Suprised Durno hasn't excluded Newman for Jacobs going through the tapes.
  22. Well done Durno, done us again. Cook clearly touched the tapes and Buckowski gets excluded!
