  1. Looking back at Zagar win, if the 2 Wolves riders did a bit of team riding they would have covered the track and stopped Zagar. It was a great pass though.
  2. So, once everyone has a “smart Karger box” the one time benefit is reduced, so just scrap its use now.
  3. Thanks for that. I was trying to remember Fridays times. So sticking the full GP riders on a 2valve Jawa would mean they would be going a bit slower, probably require more skill to pass, cost would be thousands of £’s less to riders/promotors.
  4. Last week after the Challange False Dawn seemed pretty certain if Dan stays in the top 6 then the next rider to be included would be a pick from the FIM.
  5. Is'nt 7th place a cert if Dan stays in the top six, as he already through. So at the moment Robert is in, but its a bit crowded 6th to 11th. And Martin Vaculik was top 3 until his accident, and a GP winner this year.
  6. I not a Robert fan, but tonight he seemed to ride with more determination and aggression.
  7. When was the last time 2 Brits on s GP rostrum? He wins on a rubbish track last week and wins on a good track this week
  8. Zmarzlik at a different level there..... saw a space and claimed it.
  9. Anyone have the link to the score card for tonight. The one Neil Watson has put up doesnt work for me. I would be happy with a blank GP scorecard and I will fill in riders name. I will feel lost without a scorecard.
  10. Chugunov fastest, he is the wild card tonight. He picked no 7. Janovski no 13. Bewley picked no 5 Madsen no 4 picked no 9 Tai was 5th fastest and when he went to select he asked how much water are you going to put on if I picked no 1…….. he picked no 10. Michelson was brave picking no 1.
  11. Yes, it’s on now, started 11:55 uk time. Bewley fastest at the moment, but not yet finished. The order they qualify gives the order they pick what number they want.
  12. Yes, that would be interesting. would also like to see today GP stars riding 500cc 2 valve Jawa engines bikes. Probably see closer racing, just a tad slower.
  13. Can’t recall any of them being successful in the top class internationally though.
  14. You have not seen it before because it’s a new category. Also SGP2 was under 21 world championship. I found it very interesting, some decent racing from 13/14;15 year olds. There was overtaking, dependency on bike set up, plus actions that highlighted lack of experience. Would love to see the top GP riders racing on 500 2-valve Jawa’s. That would highlight the different skills required rather than just hanging on to a super wiz rocket ship.
  15. I would like Martin to pick up where he was just before he was injured. Riding very well.
  16. Probably a confidence thing. Has he had a bad fall recently. That can trigger a confidence problem….. can ride but not race.
  17. Adding to my other comment, you can have two semis and a final but then you simply make 8 riders, reducing to four, fight for the 3 places in next years GP. You cannot get round the fact there are winners and losers.
  18. It’s just like the old world championship and all it’s sub rounds used to be, you perform or your out.
  19. FIM will feel obliged to review such safety fence like Glasgow, it didn’t seem as helpful as a air bag fence.
  20. Re Thomson, I wonder if the fence had been a pukka air fence rather than foam his leg injury would have not been as bad.
  21. Kim Nillson has at least 8 months to get sponsors/machines/mechanic/head sorted. He will have to ride out of his skin to live up to his GP place.
