  1. Calling someone a troll is hardly a hangable offense. There are various level of troll from downright nasty, to constant wind up. i do agree that Gustix gets a fair bit of stick for his posts but he's been posting on here long enough now and getting stick for long enough to not seem all that phased by it.
  2. No, you're going to have to explain your point to me because you have confused me.
  3. No. It's 3 full season or 1 full season with injury.
  4. Tai didn't win an award, I wish I'd boycotted it now.
  5. Ben Wilson would return on his last average. About 6 I'm guessing.
  6. Steen Jensen averaged about 5.2 for IoW in about 2005 as Spin King says. I remember him scoring a huge amount at Newport in one meeting and looking like a super star - mind you, in 2005 Newport had nobody in there team worth beating! look at last season result he should be a bargain on a 5ish. Berwick have a few ifs, buts and maybes about them but if 1 of them comes off they'll have a good season and if two of them do then they're laughing.
  7. https://twitter.com/BTSP/status/411804095012286464/photo/1 BT Sport Minority Sports Person Of The Year Award 2013. Get voting.# Just tweet the following line to vote for Tai @BTSP @taiwoffinden108 #BTSP5
  8. I cant see it being Hansen. Fisher is being linked with Peterborough meaning Coventry would have two double uppers.
  9. I've never understood why people congratulate people on having sex.
  10. Cradley/Dudley have confirmed he's not eligible for the NL. So he cant get a 3 point average. What more proof do you want?
  11. Brady is not on a 3, so all those saying it was wrong were correct. Give up arguing.
  12. There was a football club, I think it was West Brom. Charged the equivalent of £2 a game for a season ticket but every game the child went to the kid got £2 back. The kid wanted to go as it meant £2 for them even if they were not massively hooked on the football at first but after a season of watching they would hopefully be. Apparently it was hugely successful.
  13. I want a Ferrari, maybe if I beg via the Speedway Star I'll get one? If the riders want air fences how about they ride for nothing for a few meetings to get them?
  14. The Aussie titles are a red herring, he rode in the Danish League. Thats a professional league, that makes him a 7. Also, he didn't ride in the NL so she can't be a 3.
  15. Alex Davies doesn't need a work permit. He was born in Peterborough.
  16. Rusty was over in '99 (signed for Glasgow that season) while Scott Smith come over in 2000 and sign for Newport in 2001. No doubt in my mind if Scott had taken it serious he'd have been a bloody good PL rider. In 2002 he got his average up to 9 but he spent all the money he'd earned on fags and beer rather than bikes. A real character though, remember him hobbling around Swindon on crutches fag in mouth and two bottles of beer but able to celebrate every time Wato and Smart hit the front.
  17. One of the dirtiest moves I can ever remember was the Compton/Stead PLRC final that was on tele. Infact the Sheffield '99 top 4 of Wilson, Compton, Stead and Smith must be one of the hardest/dirtiest top 4s ever! And Stead is almost saintly too! Scud Smith, the only rider I've seen wipe out 3 riders in 1 race in 3 separate moved Vissing is a nut job though and Gathercole has a screw loose. All riders mention in this post as being dirty/hard while maybe not top of my list of favourites are riders I'd happily pay to watch.
  18. The company I work for often asks me to run of a report of people who have completed a qualification with us so that sales can ring them/their manager and sign them up for a second. It's an easy win. It would be a 2 minute call, 2 minutes to get a price of a subscription out of someone is a good rate of pay by anyone's standards.
  19. It's what was said at the time, I've no reason to disbelieve it. Nicholls had quit international speedway by then. Kennett is a waste of time and effort and will never amount to any more than a cheat and even after Harris was promoted didn't appear as either of the reserves which suggests he wasn't interested. Barker and Bridger were the eventual reserves so they would have been next if Bomber had said no
  20. No more than when any number of other riders get the sack. How often do rider who have underperformed keep there job as they're on low averages while the ones who have done nothing wrong get the sack? It's part of being a speedway rider.
