  1. Sadly that link is utterly pants on a web browser through a tele. Poor quality and jumpy as hell. Sticking with it though.
  2. Anyone know why they have decided not to show the final round in YouTube? Massively disappointing, can't find a decent stream as I expected it to be on YouTube so at my parents. My own fault I guess for not checking. Anyway, cmon Robert!!
  3. "How to attract younger people", 1000s of posts later a load of old people have still not cracked it, shocking that.
  4. I bet Lindgren has put more riders in an ambulance than Pedersen ever has.
  5. And telling Kelvin off in the race where we had loads of passing and Hancock was going backwards!
  6. It might have been a GP with good racing but without Doyle and Hancock being gifted the title it's just a huge disappointment.
  7. Ellis hasn't been missing from British Speedway thought and has an average, it's EL 5.60 which converts to PL 7.8
  8. How many riders use the NL and PL to be trained up these days? Even the kids are not bothering over here any more, just the second rate ones. I doubt the PZM care about the foreignors bumming around as PL reserves!
  9. Why would Mick owe money? Coventry Speedway might.....
  10. "It's illegal" and "it's arrogant" Pretty much every contract of employment I've had has an "exclusivity" term in there saying I can't work for anyone else without permission and certainly not a competitor. Why are speedway riders different? My current contract states,
  11. Rumours still suggest that Mick is not Mr Innocent in all this. If a man who had a reputation for owing people money would you idly wait when he owed you money or would you do something now while you can? Bit extreme maybe but if the other person paid people properly.... Anyway, good news is that it shouldn't be an issue in 2017.
  12. I heard Woffy wanted rides and so started offering himself to teams. Apparently starting with Belle Vue! I guess once they couldn't got in he spoke to Wolves and they could fit him in and quite rightly they went for it! Be stupid not to.
  13. The BSPA can't stop anyone taking out a lease on any building, land or stadium. If Horton has signed a lease with the stadium it's to all intents and purposes his stadium for the next 3 years. The BSPA can stop him being a promoter but that's entirely different.
  14. I often wonder if BV know what they're doing. Rarely think it about Matt Ford
  15. BV just messed up (again!) they rectified their mistake. Poole just cheat. There's a difference!
  16. So people were posting before Bjarne fall that Tungate was going to ride. He's now riding. Will people accept this was all pre-planned yet?
  17. Tungate eh? The guy that was booked to guest on Thursday? Matt Ford, speedway first psychic promoter!
  18. I wonder if when Ivan was winning his first title at the age of 30 people were saying, "Imagine that, a rider who failed and had to go home winning a title, whatever next? Things were certainly better in when Barry and Ove were ruling the roost" - that 30 year old Ivan went on to win 5 more titles and to this day is held up as the example that others should follow. But it took him until he was 28 to make a World Final and 30 to win one, how is that any different to Jason Doyle? I don't think some people appreciate how good he is right now, 3 GP wins in a row is massive for anyone in any era. Its possible in 4 or 5 years time when he's won a few titles and been up the top for a little while people will forget the years he was an EL journeyman. Not all riders can suddenly burst onto the scene before they're 23! In fact many rider have burst onto the scene before they're 23, set to be multi-World Champions and won nothing.
  19. He's going to ride tomorrow, wait and see. If it's not Tungate then that rumour will have been incorrect. If Tungate does ride then we know that the rumour was correct and Tungate has been booked since last week.
  20. Tell you what, the organising and planning gone into this I'm starting to think that Matt Ford did 9/11!
  21. While the best case is fit to resume racing the day after Pooles play-offs end!
  22. You actually don't even need 42 to win a meeting. You can do it with 40.8. The two riders going into heat 15 will go in with high average as they're the better riders, one of them at least is likely to see his average drop. If you assume they both have 3333 going into heat 15 and get 5-1d both of their averages drop and you may have still scored 46
