  1. 20 points at home against the Monarchs - yes. We managed 12 with r/r and not firing on all cylinders, so why not. Monarchs are getting a bit carried away but they are really just a side with an outside hope for the playoffs.
  2. The forecast for tonight is just about perfect. Looking forward to a good meeting.
  3. A massive week indeed for the tigers........ I would be happy with 4 points and a 20+ lead against the Monarchs.
  4. Fair enough, but Monarchs have been at armadale for twenty odd years and it is an absolute dump far beyond anything else in Speedway. They have achieved the impossible by letting the stadium get worse from a baseline of hee haw.
  5. Fully understand the Monarchs fans wanting to catch two genuine play off rivals in action. No doubt they are raising petrol money as we speak, and will come eight to a car with their tartan rugs and thermos flasks.
  6. Still really believe this is a meeting we should be able to win, the Gating advantage should be there for Worral and Lawson, Coty at 2 makes it a bit more difficult for him but he will score a good few and he's very at home on the track. A lot comes down to how the no 4's, and the reserves do. Liam I think will score well, but Danny will improve on his last visit. Also I believe Gappmaier is pretty good, but he's not been up against a strong side at home yet. Come on Glasgooooooooooooooooooow.
  7. I'm not in a position to have a pop at Horton - Yes fantastic and all the rest of it but Coventry need to be moving forward at pace from now on if you want to continue. IE looking at new finance and trying to get someone else to take it on.
  8. Don't see how it's such a massive deal. Better to get the fixture done and dusted rather than wait until the autumn. A shame some can't make it but I'm sure there'll be a good crowd.
  9. Coventrey another year at Brandon, 3 subject to conditions. Get rid of Horton.
  10. At least you won't need to worry about clashing with England games going forward.
  11. Can't wait to see the Berwick third bend boys in full flight (from reality) - their traditional chorus of 'cum on the lads' ringing in our ears, Dick interrupting the riders preparations with a joke from the Morecambe and Wise xmas special, 1977 and the kids having a snowball fight on the back straight. Happy days.
  12. Will be there. This meeting is a chance for us to get back in away form. Coty at 2, Aaron Richard and Ritchie are all capable of scoring well.... Hopefully we gate and get off to a good start to a week that could make or hamper our cup and league season.
  13. NO FEAR.... However, Somerset are a shoe in to top the league on points and I also still would be surprised if Newcastle don't finish up in the top 3. As I am magnanimous, I will say Edinburgh are a changed side since they swapped Etheridge for Riss and Bewley started scoring. Your lot still are not on my list of worries, though.
  14. Sad to see BB's decline. What happened in heat 1?
  15. Rosco surely must shoulder the responsibility for the result, Danny Ayres no way ready to ride EL - although I don't know whatthe rules are that had him guesting, poor guy wouldn't have enjoyed that. However, Swindon for the playoffs.
  16. If you are not logged in it does something differst and I can't see certain forums - might be that
  17. Swindon to get a point or two. And make the playoffs this year.
  18. Wolves were firing on all cylinders the other night (and are a better team than they looked on paper) this will be closer I'm sure. Kings Lynn know they have every chance of making the playoffs. Just can't see Swindon getting hammered. 47-43
  19. Glasgow have a practice on Sunday where you can see the youngsters (and oldsters) for FREE. In the comfort of the Stade.
