  1. To be fair, the usual suspects are whining because their team isn't riding - they'd rather the motocross from Wimbourne road was on every second week. The last week has been terrible weather.
  2. Yes, Coventry poor. But give Swindon a bit of credit. Tungte, Doyle, Grazjonic, Sedgeman. Kasprzak a fart in a trance. Had he scored Coventry would have at least taken a point. Is that Wornya is now fannying about behind the camera. What the *****. Wait till Havvy sees that.
  3. Big crowd, track looks good, despite the 5-1 this is going to be exciting.
  4. That's why I'm wondering about Llanishen - if it's a reasonable enough area I'll leave it onstreet. Train right next to it.
  5. Park Plaza - I don't mind dumping the car tbh but I won't be there until about 2pm
  6. For anyone that knows Cardiff, I'm staying in the city centre and driving down but there is no car parking space at the hotel. I am thinking of parking somewhere like this on the Sat afternoon and picking up on the Sunday AM. Are these suitable areas (small car, not fancy, nothing left in it etc). Or is there a cheap car park anywhere outside the centre? Llanishen - Millr Road, Everest Avenue Heath Park
  7. Newcastle with a no7 who could score 3 or 4 a meeting are in around the best in the league imo.
  8. Denied the chance after missing an EL meeting and travelling. Look at the field it was wide open at the point it was abandoned. I hop he gets the wildcard but it's a poor, poor excuse for set up.
  9. I'm always thinking is there not something lower cost aletrnative to covers - Particuarly when you see the miles upon miles of grow tunnels in Stirlingshire.... might invent it and become a millionaire. Plenty time to think about it today anyway.
  10. There's no way I'll be watching tennis. Still, GP next week and Edinburgh the next Expecting rain right through the afternoon.
  11. It's Worky showing their Elite league credentials.
  12. Didn't expect Wethers to get past Wolbert in heat 7 or I'd have been bang on again. Incredible.
  13. Sad as was looking forward to the trip. But thanks to Workington for the early notice. Sure there will be lot of people down for the rerun.
  14. To be fair, looking at the meeting score Holder Ellis and Starke really won the meeting.... 2/3 Poole riders. Summers and BWD a point between them.....Worried about Summers bike tbh, but we shall see. Have to say that's impressive from Holder. Cook seems to be losing the plot.
  15. I'm going to predict 47-43 - guest wise does it look like Liam Carr.... Rate him much more highly this season but he's a bit harum scarum at Ashfield. We really need to be winning every meeting at home.
  16. Ah... I had read it wrong. Unfortunately can't make it tonight but hopefully it stays on and is a good one.
  17. Surely the Poole boys will be happy to see a meeting of any sort after all this time. Ffs even belle Vue have overtaken them after their fiasco at the start of the season.
  18. Anyone it's on their website 13 pounds and 10 concession.
  19. I heard the number of season books on Wednesday was far more than usual. The crowds look to me to be slightly higher than last year and I haven't heard any figures less than about 770 (can't remember who that was but Redcar or someone far away. I presume it's just a case of continuing to batter away - and Wednesday will certainly have helped in promotional terms. If they are playing the long game it looks great. As for the league, agreed. It's so tight (other than Somerset so far) this year. ** PS I'm not a Blobby style insider, so hearing all this second hand.
