  1. cheap entry.I think this will be a cracker, tbh. Both sides getting in their stride, but home win 51-39
  2. If GI pull a fast one, Surely they have enough of a record and there's enough written evidence to either land grab or look at the original agreement as fraudulent?
  3. Delighted with a convincing win, but Edinburgh look a better side than they started the season. Would agree the meeting was closer than the final result suggests. Edinburgh Berwick is surely a very attractive fixture for both sets of fans now. We have a huge weekend with Worky who won't be eaasy despite their inept performance on Monday and Sheffield on Sunday.
  4. There is usually plenty of overtaking at Glasgow. Masters just doesn't like us very much. I look forward to next weeks EL meetings as well tbh.
  5. There were no incentives, admission was the same price as normal. There has however been a huge effort in promoting via social and mainstream media. There have also been regular promotional stalls at other sporting and community events in the area. A massive plus has been the engagement with a family audience and the entertainment put on for kids each week. The amount of work the Facennas and all the volunteers have put in is huge. They have also made clear that they need our support. We are also lucky we have a small stadium which creates atmosphere. TBH I can't for the life of me think why there was a poor crowd at Poole Belle Vue this season. It's the glamour meeting in English speedway, and I can't answer that. Maybe more people have Sky down South or maybe Poole are on too often... dunno.
  6. The big thing with the Premier is the battle for the playoffs. Six places and realistically there are nine / ten clubs fighting for them. The likes of Edinburgh V Berwick on Friday has a real sense of importance and excitement about it.
  7. Awful, really. However, it's soon going to be time for Swindon Speedway and the council to dig their heels in - and every speedway fan in the country get behind them.
  8. Ford has played himself, hopefully he'll now blame himself I'm not anti Poole, but tbh this is a fiasco thinking you should take a month off in the peak of summer when there were fixtures in April.
  9. Dying to see this on repeat - is there any links? I've got Now TV but I can't record.
  10. Bang on, Berwick are doing a great job this season and are to be congratulated. Wasn't their fault Worky had a nightmare. Shovlar is just on the wind up, tbh. Looking like six weeks without a meeting, Belle Vue on fire, Holder lost it again, Doyle winning GP's... etc etc etc. We usually get better racing but unfortunately we ended up with a slick track due entirely to the weather. Still, wan't half bad
  11. A Big away support have to be thanked for making it such an event. We did Scotland proud.
  12. Was closer than the scoreline suggests, but Fisher was immense tbh.
  13. FFFS Meeting is on, yes there were showers, yes they were expected, no the meeting is not off. Yes the weather looks great for tonight.
  14. Tough one for play off contenders Berwick. However, I'm taking the Bandits 48-42
  15. No Nike Lunna (R/R) other than that Glasgow full strength. Ashfields qute physical entering first and third bends, due to the width and the camber so I don't see Bewley finding it easy.
  16. The Brexit lads may be swimming, but up here we are smiling. I can see the golden glow of Cashfield from my work. Happy days. The Sky guys are in for a treat.
  17. Let's not get into that. I Look forward to a fantastic night of speedway at the Peugot Ashfield Arena.
  18. Tomorrow night will be a pleasant summer evening, I assure you. Much the same as Armadale was on Friday evening.
  19. No track covers, no danger of a rain off, in fact expect the track to be perfect for racing and viewing. The purvey will also be of the finest quality, although I would advise anyone requiring salt and sauce to phone in ahead of time.
  20. Don't worry, this will make Falubaz Gorzow look like young lads down the park. Gp boys, elite stars, the new robert lambert, Danny Ayres, the lot. And plenty of Posso glamour.
  21. This will be better. Both sides have quality riders and racers.
