  1. I've never hidden the fact I find a bit of off track handbags amusing at the speedway. * Actually, I have to qualify that. As Masters is involved, and with his disgraceful record, I don't want to see any trouble. A step too far and, for me, when he is involved I'm afraid the laughing stops. No place for that kind of thuggery in Speedway.
  2. BBC Now has wednesday almost completely dry !!!! however that will change up to the last minute. * II was never on this before 2015 as I didn't know or even think of looking.
  3. The Glasgow fans will be there on Wednesday, Apparently one or two monarchs not coming through as Domino's does a two for one on a wed.
  4. Lol at the excuse from fairweather supporters not to come through. Just admit you can't be bothered.
  5. Ford possibly spooked by Belle Vue's current resurgance and reputation their track is gaining, Poole's lacklustre start and GP boy Chris Holder publically trashing Wimbourne road....
  6. Not predicting the score, but looking forward to it. Hope there is a big crowd - the promotion deserve it and I want it to look magic on Sky. Saw one of those giant video Billboards next to Celtic park today with this meeting on it.
  7. Yes have to agree 14 fixtures would do my head in. I like a weekly home meeting tbh. Glasgow have had two weeks off just there and it's moidah.
  8. Col is a legend in my eyes lolololol Gutted this was rained off, no way Edinburgh would have wanted it postponed that late in the day
  9. Wevver now looking better. THE LADS ARE COMING!!!!!!!!!
  10. This has 50-40 written all over it. I've taken the wife's wages out the bank and piled in.
  11. Christ on a bike the BBC now has Friday night a washout. Surely not again!
  12. How many teams does Bach ride for now - it looks to me he rides in Poland for a start(?) and Denmark, maybe Sweden!? Unfortunately we were probably pushed into this situation by circumstances but agree I'd much rather be seeing our full 7.
  13. Apparently it's a new one which UPS managed to lose - not a good avdert for a courier!!
  14. Hoping for a dry evening.. no announcements yet but presumably the teams are as follows: Monarchs 1. Sam Masters 2. Erik Riss 3. Kevin Wolbert 4. Mark Riss 5. Ryan Fisher 6. Max Clegg 7. Dan Bewley Glesga 1. Richard Lawson 2. Rene Bach 3. Richie Worrall 4. R/R for Nike Lunna 5. Aaron Summers 6. Fernando Garcia 7. Danny Ayres Summers on a new Ash tec engine apparently, could be close but a lot depends on Bach, Lawson, M Riss and the reserves perform.... hoping for a narrow Glasgow victory but who knows.
  15. Certainly it's going to be an interesting 2nd half of the season. I still think it's going to be one of Poole belle Vue though. Playoffs should again be thrilling by the look of it.
  16. Looking at the score surely Cook and Nicholls did well, Worral out of depth, off night for Fricke and Zagar at 6.4. Having said that, I'm just looking at the score, wasn't there!
  17. Last time I was at Berwick we drew and it was a fantastic meeting. Loads of passing. Looking forward to this but would advise the likes of Blobby to watch the England game. And don't come to Glasgow on the Wednesday, that'll be even worse.
  18. Weird - I couldn't access this forum earlier today??? Anyone else have any issues
  19. I can understand why the guest rules so lax in NL, though. Surely it's case of increasing professionalism as you move up the ranks.NL riders put a lot of unpaid hours in for love of the sport. Unfortunately it's then open to abuse.
  20. Is this still running???? just put it on and says heat 20.
  21. Berwick are a great side at home at the mo, so realistically a home win was expected. Liam Carr really impressed me lately, and he did enough to ride in Heat 15. So take away the reserves and it's a lot more like 50-40. I said it before - Bandits for the play offs.
