  1. If the two regions rode on separate nights (say a Thursday and a Friday) Could you then not have a limited number of double uppers. EG Lawson riding for Glesga and Essex? I know there's tons of issues but the idea of a northern league with the chance to ride against Belle vue is great for Glasgow, then pump Poole in a sort of Superbowl....
  2. Surely the tenth el Bloberino. Or are you hijacking our racing night!!
  3. Campbell has informed the BSPA he's having a barbecue on the 19th,
  4. Easy away win, 38 - 52. Bet your house on this guys I've had a vision.
  5. Do Glasgow want up though? I've not heard. The promotion are losing substantial sums in the PL, wouldn't the EL just make it worse?
  6. Would be worth bidding for this just to be an absolute bstard. Kicking paint tins over, chasing the referee round the track etc. Then a muddlo style post match interview...there's a long way to go...my lads showed character....professional foul....my you're an attractive young lady etc etc etc Perfect night out if I could afford it
  7. It is a shambles, but the standard in the Premier is pretty high.
  8. +1 it looked to me like Barker liked it deep and on a couple of previous occasions it was set up to let them fly round the fence.
  9. I asked previously apparently Matt Ford doesn't want to compete against Euro 2016.
  10. Anyway - lot of good riders on show. Thought we were past the days of Cookie Fear, I've got it back The rational side of me thinks we can win this, but tbh I'd be happy with one or two points. Should be a good meeting.
  11. Never knew that - was told they waterlogged it yesterday but the assumption we had was it was just dry. Shame if that's the case because the dust was shocking. However the weather was freakishly good all week. Looking forward to Berwick next week but more important points in the bag. In this league you want to finish high. or the play offs could be tough.
  12. Not a great meeting but not the worst either. The perils of afternoon racing in Ibiza Springburn I suppose. A lot of dust unfortunately, but good result for the tigers. Well done Ben, but bring on Rene. Almost feel guilty saying I had a great day after reading the posts above!!!!!
  13. Nobody even bothers to point out the absurdity of the council handing out and advice and demands on car sharing these days. What a fiasco this has turned into.
  14. Slight change to the Glasgow running order which IMO may benefit Lunna and us. Plymouth without the on-fire Brady Kurtz (part of me wishes he could have made it after his performance at Swindon the other night). However a more than capable guest at Ashfield in the shape of Grajczonek . Glasgow 1. Lawson 2. Barker 3. Worral 4. Lunna 5. Summers 6. Garcia 7. Ayres Plymouth 1. Josh Grajczonek (G) 2. Kyle Newman 3. Kevin Doolan (G) 4. Todd Kurtz 5. Sam Simota 6. Stefan Nielsen 7. Ellis Perks
  15. Davey was as a reserve though was he not.
  16. Have a look at the people who take offense on here and funnily enough they are the ones who end up turning threads into pointless, brainless slanging matches. Boring saddos. PS Looking at updates is it not the Worrals mum who took offence anyway? TBH mums have special dispensation for defending their boys so it looks like a storm in t-cup.
  17. if you're no longer able to post your opinion on a discussion forum, then what's the point of having a discussion forum. Grow up ,This thread is a laugh. And I'm a Glasgow fan, who thinks Worral is fantastic and a genius signing at that average. Him Summers and Lawson are a dream, 3 heatleaders.
  18. The Edinburgh fans I've spoken to at Ashfield have all said Etheridge is just a bit of the mark - IE not a bad rider at all, just off the pace atm.
  19. I didn't Dick, you mentioned Edinburgh. I was thinking of something else entirely.
  20. I'm just glad we didn't resort to having an open track audition like some of our rivals, which to my mind is most unedifying.
