Statement on the Glasgow site, very magnanimous, mutual agreement. There are good reasons on both sides for wanting to split. I hope Barker gets himself sorted out and makes the most of his undoubted skill.

Well said Jenga. Some people see criticism of Campbell as an attack on Edinburgh speedway. That's not the case i can assure them. But this kind of below the belt stuff is all to common from one or two members of the promotion.

Absoulte Bollocks. He thought he'd be smart and bring in the next great white hope, didn't do enough diligence and is now blaming the lad for not being who he never was. Classy.

Don't agree about Glasgow tail. Worrall Barker lunna all performed below their average tonight. Lunna has had an unlucky couple of days and ayres is doing well as is garcia.if the track was better early on lunna would have taken a couple of point and Barker is riding a crap bike and is clearly injured. Good meeting and crowd, friendly geordies happy with a point.

Come on Glasgow get out and support the side. Weather looks great and two sides packed with quality. This is going to be a real team meeting. -
He was fighting last year, which wasn't boring. And he's been S*** hot this year so that's not boring either. Non-boring.

Who is missing for Newcastle on Monday. The Worrals are coming over after Belle Vue vs Coventry but seems there may be a couple missing? **Sorry this is the wrong thread*** -

A couple of reasons I'm not mega keen, but good luck to him and he's been consistant. -

Good result for us, and seems to have been a good meeting. Lasse Bjerre is letting them down big time and they deserve better. If Richie, Nike,Fernando score like that we will be very, very difficult to beat. Even when Ben Barking goes missing. -
BV vs Poole is going to be very interesting (when it happens) because you could easily end up with the opposite result. You would have to think Holder will be in his element up there. I'll say it again, I have watched the whole thing twice and will again, it was a great advert for Speedway, albeit the track was a bit of a mess.

Thought Cooks first Start was exceptional and it just goes to show again that they need to have a look at the rules and technology. -
A terrific meeting with lots of great racing. Thoroughlly enjoyed that. However as many have said the track steadily worsened and was terrible. Brilliant entertainment though and I'm glad Zagar was OK. Nicholls was immense. I missed Middlo unfortunately as I watched the repeat. At the end of the day Craig Cook was probably the only Belle Vue rider who really didn't handle the track (not that I'm blaming anyone who couldn't). Holder sounds like he is genuinelly pissed off that Matt Ford isn't keeping his side of the bargain - I don't blame him because the track is beyond bad. In the end it was total entertainment , a real thriller.
