Yeah would agree. Lunna, Garcia and Ayres provided some excitement. Enjoyable enough day and hopefully lines us up well for Monarchs. Barker was faster but bizarrely less consistant. -

It's something dodgy with Microsoft. It did that to me on the Rolling Stone website. -

Monarchs tactic on here is to predict a 40 point win for us, so they can describe anything else as the wheels coming off. So transparent. -

A proper second half at this meeting in the form of a 6 heat challenge. Should be good. Ashfield Giants 1) Ryan MacDonald 2) Kev Whelan 3) Dale Lamb 4) Mark McIlkenny Redcar Cubs 1) Ben Basford 2) Blair Smith 3) Kieran Douglas 4) Carl Basford -
Bored at work today!

AND WHILE I'M AT IT, we have the British semi final tonight at Ashfied - oh wait a minute it was moved so that Edinburgh could get on with their vital cup meeting tonight. Against Belle Vue Colts.
-
Chance on Sunday for us to take a good lead to Redcar, full team and Barker apparently has a new engine.

Ipswich V Edinburgh Pl 19-5-16 @ 7-30pm

Etheridge not going to cut it unless it is poor machinery that's keeping him off the pace and something can be done about it. TBH I feel for the lad going on an adventure to the other side of the world, far from family etc. I'm sure he would LOVE to be bagging points but it just isn't happening. -
Maybe, looking on the bright side this will be an extremely painful business resulting in a new stadium belonging to Swindon Speedway on an industrial / brownfield site. The further Speedway gets away from Greyhounds and the type of people involved the better. I took the pessimistic view hoping that I'd be wrong (as usual) but there is now no way the new stadium will be up before the start of next season as others have already suggested. Grim.

Have to say having seen them a few times and coming from an unbiased position, Edinburgh will be lucky to hit 15 tonight. -
Concrete starting grid is a complete non starter for a number of reasons, all safety related. You can argue for it all you like but it is never going to happen.

Maybe your browser is out of date. I;ve just navigated the site and watched the video of Barry above. -
I'm amazed anything ever gets built in this country, other than lego houses and retail parks.

Belle Vue fans - any idea yet as to when the postponed home match vs Poole is taking place. I fancy a trip down but seems to have gone off the radar.

Oh well can't blame the bike. Good stuff atm thankfully.

What engine is Harris using atm?

Somerset V Glasgow Pl May 13th 2016 @ 19-30
damosuzuki replied to Paulco's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Barker had a bad meeting by the sounds of it, but he's been consistent (to the extreme) 8 pointer before this and on updates they said his bike sounded terrible. Reports of Glasgows demise are premature, but the good thing is hopefully our chums from the east will come through for the sky meeting if they think they have a chance. Newcastle, Sheffield and Somerset are the best teams in this league so I'm not getting too upset. However, as predicted if one of the top four doesn't turn up we are in bother. -
Edinburgh are no mugs despite what Blob is saying. If they have switched some things around re: Etheridge and Bewley they have potential to be a very strong side. Delighted this is on the telly.

My predictions have all been uncanny so far, so stick the house on 40-50.
