Something has to be done at the promoters meeting over winter about all the gaps between meetings, at ALL tracks, we can see now fans are not happy, and now for Poole looks like several meetings in a few days, at the height of summer when cash maybe needed for family days out somewhere. IMO the fixtures should be like football, 1 home 1 away then you would have 2/3 meetings every month at home

Only problem with that statement, you do know that the Poole track has very little shale on it, so you definitely won't feel shale on your face 😜 maybe dust early on before the blue groove appears 🤣

Haven't heard of many clubs paying volunteers for the volunteer work they do 😲 most people do it for the love of the sport, some may get a snack/drink as thanks . Many volunteers I know at worky also sponser the team in some form or another, or even pay the admission money to the club. But obviously money bags Poole may do something different 😜

FYI Workington didn't require a crowd of 1500 in 2018. But unfortunately until the last few trophy winning meetings crowds weren't anywhere near break even . Hopefully now we are at the GT tyres Northside arena all money spent ( food,drink, car park etc ) goes to keeping the speedway alive

Things can start small and unfortunately grow into bigger issues at times 🤔

Doesn't help any bandit fans planning to travel or already booked flights trains hotels, especially as the weather forecast is good for travelling fans

IMO that's not a reason, I attended the 2 days of the GP paid 2 nites in a city centre hotel and still attended Workington meetings either side. Just saying 😃
