They eat more pies these days so people are bigger ð
-
Going by what's gone on all winter the clowns in charge probably won't know what they are worth, and will give the rights away ð
-
Personally I think BSN have the finger on the pulse regarding how much punters would pay, I'm expecting a similar price for full 40 ish championship meetings like last year and probably around 25 is premiership meetings
-
BSN have just announced a 3 year deal to stream championship and premiership speedway that's good news. prices out next week ð But after this winter exploits will speedway be still around in 3 years ðĪ
-
Well your in for a different experience than belle Vue the track/ stadium would fit into a third of the NSS. But Plymouth seems to be doing something good, as last year when the Comets visited, the crowd was about double the previous year.
-
Just got to try and remember what it is ð
-
Yes that's the way I read it,
-
But he gets a nose bleed any further north than Oxford
-
Less than 4 weeks to the official season starts 6 weeks till Easter, normally prime speedway crowds. BUT yet still no fixtures ðē people are wanting to plan their lives and family time ðĪ
-
And the longer it goes on, many potential sponsors may lose interest in putting money into a local track, as the sponsor will have to include the money in a potential business plan and organise to bring contacts for a day out at their chosen fixture
-
It's past getting the point where people now don't care what happens, then will be thinking twice about attending speedway in the future, then if the punters don't attend the promoters business plan ( if they have one ) goes out of the window. This applies to not just Ipswich it's the whole fookin sport
-
Various roads surrounding the stadium may get parked, but may upset the locals, track is only a few minutes walk from the main A57 road with lots of buses, maybe able to park a few mile away and get the bus. Think the road outside the stadium gets closed for the GP, for league meetings plenty of parking on here.
-
Must be cheap ðĪŠ been about for years and got no better, yet still gets signed up, where others show promise but don't get signed ðĪ my conclusion is less ÂĢ than someone else
-
Maybe they may do it for the best interests of the sport ð
-
Was that number when the stocks returned and approaching similar numbers for big meetings, don't follow stocks, but most seem to get good crowds with fans paying to get in, also the drivers pay to enter, so it's a win win for stock promotions and another win if they own the stadium, like mildenhall and Ipswich and possibly others
-
Maybe so, good luck to all involved BUT the season officially starts in less than 4 weeks, Easter is 7 weeks away, prime attendance time if the weather is good, no track built, no fixtures out for away fans to plan journeys, no team announced, no local promotion can be done as no one knows what is happening. This is not just Northampton it the whole of premiership speedway, it's a fookin joke ð
-
Apparently Bradford bulls kicked out the stock car people because the rugby league said for them to be a super League club, the pitch had to be, and remain a certain size at all times, they would not allow them to lift the corners in any circumstances. This dispite the stock cars bringing in upto 10k people into odsal every 4 weeks or so spring summer and autumn, , and the rugby club benefiting from food sales and rent
-
Probably won't be the ex Reds ones, as l believe they won't be leaving borugh park until the football season finishes, as surprise surprise the I has not been dotted and the t has not been crossed by the council for the new stadium to be built ð§
-
Personally I don't think it was ever going to happen, my opinion is them in charge kept talking about or dropping hints about Northampton to divert most people attention from the bigger issues of a 4 or 5 ? team premiership and now 4 weeks before the official start of the season (klindt testimonial) NO fixtures have yet been released
-
Re showers and changing rooms, they have portacabins that are pre built as showers and toilets, worky use them and no complaints as far as I'm aware
-
-
As of 26th march all TNT contents that were via disco + app will be now available via HBO max app . So if GP is still being covered it should be available here somewhere.
-
Nikki p would put a few on the gate ðĪ and still riding
-
So @lewy you have kept your hands in your pocket for another year ðĪŠ good news for Plymouth after no main sponsor last season
