He could also fill his bus and make some money -
Maybe a better option is some of the southern based younger riders, like anders Rowe, but probably not too keen to travel north and like others too fixed on a possible polish option
-
Obviously you don't know how businesses work and to keep in business you have to stick to your business plan, that means don't burst your budget
-
Couple on here don't seem to think like that ehh @Supersteady1984
-
Unfortunately a few on here think the promotion have money to throw at speedway !! But if run to a budget hopefully the club will prosper.
-
Apparently always been a expensive rider to sign, and comets have a budget to work to, what do you do ? Bust the budget to sign a rider and risk the future of the club, or try and get someone in budget and survive for a few years, But it is taking too long to get the last rider signed
-
Fixtures been out ages now
-
Redcar sign Jonas knudsen a decent rider who maybe could have completed the comets team, not many left now, wonder when the last rider will be named ?

But it would ease congestion getting into northside arena, local people could buy advance tickets and walk through, then less ques for travelling fans to join -

Well with the line up so far and still several top ? names to be added, looks like I'll have to camp out nite before to get into northside arena -
Just stating facts

Have heard that the last signing is still to be nailed down, can we open talks with the higher authorities to get Dan in on a 5 if its good enuf for Glasgow surely we can have special dispensation
-
A big well done to Plymouth looking to improve the track, yes it did look bad, but remember still 2 months till the season starts, a little bit of dry weather and a drying wind will help things big style, looking forward to my visit in may with the comets
-
Would think some of these riders will have been approached, but for one reason or another probably don't fancy a journey to deepest Cumbria
-
Unfortunately as said in recent interviews with Steve lawson, when Workington were accepted into the league at a late stage, mid November after promoter's conference, most teams were already signed up, thus leaving the comets having to think out of the box to sign a team, so far the team looks good, but the last signing seems to be a sticking point, not helped now that Redcar have a similar average to fill
-
Probably now asking for more
-
Race now on to name last rider, now Redcar has joined the race, while riders who may fit into either team will be counting the extra dosh
-
Yea this happens now, but in the past was supplied from a big drum at the track, but it was very primitive, now a big more safer when giving out the supplies
-
Apparently it was the illegal additive he was carrying, nitros oxide, several riders allegedly put a little in the carbs before going out on track and it gave a boost to your starts
-
Seems like @KK62 is wrong defo in 50 gallon drums in late 70's early 80's , a few on here have done it or can remember it being taken out of the big barrel into 1 gallon containers
