Without a massive investment by someone to install lights at the track, and possibly on the approach road, due to elf and safety, what time do you suggest, you could get away with 5pm mid summer, but early/late season you won't get away with it. Another reason why a 3pm maybe better is that if a rider who signs for the comets has to go to another country, for U21 meetings etc will have more time to get to an airport for a early Sunday morning flight

Under league rules if a club fails to complete a meeting by the end of the season you are fined, so the bspa should be fined for failing to ensure the flagship meeting was not completed, in 2018 the fine was £3000, that's what worky were fined when last fixture of season was iced off, so should be £4000 now

The NFL as was is probably no more due to the none availability of clubs, Workington have moved up due to NFL not being available in enough meetings, mildenhall and Berwick withdrawn, big doubts about Kent. So only a couple of clubs may run a team, the bspa have said some form of junior or NFL racing will go ahead, but they have not thought about how it's gonna work yet,

Maybe, but comes a time when someone says enuf is enuf, now living in France and speedway being diluted every season, that time maybe around the corner,

Probably a 5 as I think like, most young Aussie's do, he's been riding in the lower polish league or U24. Think he's the best of the available Aussie's, but if he rides for the comets he will be a long way from a British Aussie base. These are down south in the Poole area, so may mean a lot of traveling, unless he wants to be based further north without many Aussie's around him

Tosh1218 where have you been hiding the past 12 months or so, been plenty of coverage of the comets at the fantastic Northside arena, yes we have no floodlights at the moment, but they are in the planning for the future. Will be a lot easier for traveling fans to come to the Northside arena, and as most of the league is northern based, could be a few traveling fans, may also be attractive for southern fans, weekend in lakes and Saturday afternoon speedway

Zischke is apparently getting a lot of help from darcy ward, and a rumore at a recent worky practice session was that darcy has been on the phone offering an Australian rider to the comets as darcy thinks the track would suit the said rider better than Poole

Think you may need to apologise to the Workington promotion, as it was a very successful return with an opening crowd reported to be over 2000 people later in the season crowds appeared to level off at 500 or so, which at the NDL level is a good crowd, other teams seemed to get 200-250 including 50 travelling comets fans

Different riders than some of the ones who rode for the comets 5 or more years ago,

Terro is old skool, what the new comets want is different riders, apart from our rumoured number 1
