  1. Yes have a run up to sunny Workington, think coild be a good track with no rain forecast, should be the same if not better racing than last week, if you have seen clips of heat 15 as good as belle Vue if not better lets hope
  2. The NDLRC is suppose to be a protected event, but because Godfrey and Co have their own agenda, the rules aren't enforced, and the NDLRC line up and Workington fans are left with crumbs
  3. The line up for tomorrow which should be the best of the NDLRC is left very watered down, for various reasons, but to me a lot of it stops at Mr Godfrey and the bspa doors !!! This apparently is a protected event, but 2 riders are at scummy, yes some are injured, one I think has returned to Aussie, and probably the others can't be arse@ but seems like the fans have got to put up with a 2nd class event. BUT can all the comets fans and traveling fans come down to support the promotion to show we love our speedway
  4. Will Joe T not be banned due to missing NDLRC on Sunday to ride for Poole
  5. Who has stated they are not running any team ?? Andrew bain said after the Kent meeting they have/are in talks/meetings with bspa with regards to next season
  6. Apparently this is a protected meeting, but some riders have been told to ride for Poole and scunny, looks like the leader of the bspa Mr Godfrey does not abide by the rules, just what is best for himself and other clubs
  7. Was a reply to a post on Facebook by Workington comets that they are still waiting for the official lineup from the powers that be (Bspa) Just about sums up them in charge !!!
  8. Well the usual suspects have gone missing and they can't even say we'll done to the tiggers,
  9. Got to feel sorry for the spiders in the Glasgow trophy cupboard as they may get evicted by a silver thing tonight
  10. Should be same or similar to original line up, unless injuries stop them riding
  11. Last meeting at the northside arena and its a big one, the leagues top rider battle it out to be riders champion. With the weather looking good and after last week the track producing good racing should be good. Hope some travelling fans decide to come along Come on down to cheer your favourite rider
  12. Restaging date Sunday 15th October at 14.00 and looks like the weather gods are on side for a change could be a good meeting and racing
  13. Chopin airport best one to fly to, then bus or train to city centre, tickets from the machines work out cheap, 15 zloty (£3) for 24 hours in 2022. Moulin airport is a good few miles away from central Warsaw and a couple of bus/train changes required
  14. Always thought speedway now should be home one week away the other, may need a couple squeezed in as well, that way April to August will be able to fit the meetings in, people won't have the expense of weekly speedway, cost spread out over the season, sometimes less is more.
  15. Yes it is doable but various promotions can't get this year's fixtures done before the October poor weather , never mind another set of fixtures
  16. Think you need to chill out and lie down, before you upset more people come back on here after the Glasgow meeting then we can discuss speedway, NOT name calling
  17. Hope your bus can swim ? Sounds like a lot of roads flooded or washed away could be an interesting drive out
  18. Are you sure your not a Poole fan, as this is what they do on every thread, start calling names etc to everyone
  19. With the amount of rain that has fallen in Scotland, you could maybe swim it to Glasgow Geoff
  20. But fell off once, and imo looked a bit wobbly on the bike at times, but may have been track conditions
  21. Enjoyable meeting and some good racing, track held up well, despite all the rain in worky the last few days, some good riding by the team, impressed with senna summers, one to watch I think, if luke crang rode like this all season, comets would have won more meetings, but been a good year for the return of the comets, thanks to Andrew Bain for bringing them back, let's wait and see what happens next year. Next week the NDLRC if the riders turn up and give it a go, could be a very good meeting, let's hope the weather gods are on our side
  22. View from trackside around 12 o clock, looks surprisingly good
