  1. Will be at this on Thursday, I think Oxford will just sneak it by 2 and it’ll be mainly down to 3 of the Sheffield riders never racing at Oxford before and that just happens to be the 3 heat leaders, if they each take a ride to dial in could be difficult to grab those points back, Sheffield need big points from Pickering and Howarth who have ridden there in 2023 and the 2 reserves in Gilkes and Edwards need to be picking up points against opposite numbers
  2. Confirmed line up for the meeting http://www.sheffield-speedway.com/news.php?extend.3440 Got to feel for Kyle, when he was given this date by the BSPL there were no other meeting scheduled, now there’s 2 meetings and a meet the riders night at Ipswich taking out vast majority of Premiership riders, defo been screwed over by the speedway hierarchy, a lot of last minute changes for him and his testimonial team to sort out can’t imagine the stress that will have caused, hopefully enough punters turn up to make the night a success and doesn’t leave him with hole in his pocket having filled out money to get this meeting on
  3. Still no news on P&P, could it be Weds 20th March ahead of first league match?
  4. What would Parkinson-Blackburn come in on? Know he’s burnt a few bridges in the past but one of few riders at this level who will have had plenty laps around Owlerton where half the home meetings will be
  5. Be interesting to see if any of the riders who race in Poland ride in this as there’s league matches over there Friday-Sunday. Wonder if any of the clubs will put the usual demands on riders to concentrate on Poland
  6. Well deserved testimonial for Kyle, one of those riders who gives 100 % and always has time for a chat with the fans. So we know the meeting will be one of the first ones of 2024 and will be Sheffield Tigers 2024 v World Select. Great that Kyle has lined up the 2024 Sheffield team and good that they get some bike/track time ahead of the new season. It’s a shame there’s two league meetings that’s clash with this and that obviously narrows down options for riders based with UK clubs, hopefully we get to see some riders that know the fast way around Owlerton (and maybe some new or old riders to the UK) and make it a good meeting
  7. The Championship is all that’s left to him now unless he signs a Warsaw contract in Poland hoping to get a team spot when the window opens again
  8. Picko 100% back in 2024 with Edinburgh, it’ll be a bit of a tail between the legs return after pricing himself out of the Polish 1st and 2nd divisions
  9. Zagar 100% will be a Brummie in 2024 following Lindgren deciding against a full season in UK
  10. I think only change to that 7 will be Connor Mountain for Dan Gilkes
  11. 1 Leicester 2 Sheffield 3 Ipswich 4 Oxford 5 Belle Vue 6 King’s Lynn 7 Birmingham
  12. Great average after British reduction for 2024 after a year at a track that didn’t suit his style, having Scunthorpe as a home track will be good for him and the team, always scored well when I’ve seen ride at EWR be that for Sheffield or Leicester in Championship
  13. 100% that Kyle won’t be back at Plymouth and from what I’ve heard neither will Gilles
  14. If points limit had of been 41 instead of 40 then Jye would have had the number 6 race jacket at Sheffield
  15. Must have used his Championship average to guest for Vissing as he was only in on a 4.00 I think,
  16. Not everyone is going to be World Champion! Kyle is a good string/ strong reserve depending how team is built. 5.5 average without BP’s 6.7 with BP’s what more can you ask for. Good captain in the pits, proper team man. Thu k that’s why Sheffield fans want him in the team
  17. 1 Kurtz 2 Blodorn 3 Lidsay 4 B Cook 5 Bewley 6 Z Cook 7 Bailey
  18. Adam had dropped a point each year for the last two seasons, he’s definitely on the downward spiral. He’ll be back in the points if he spends as much money on his UK kit as he does his European kit as that was 1:4 ratio last season so shows where some of the issues are
  19. AGM finishes on Thursday so at least the first 3 riders for 2024 season will be announced on Friday ahead of season ticket sales starting on Saturday, I’ll go for Tai, Jack and Kyle
  20. Tobi not a Sheffield asset, so even less guaranteed than those who are of a team place. It’s more of Jack or Tobi as number one and looks like they’ve gone for Jack who they see as maybe having more of a chance to build on his average in 2024
  21. As it’s been said suppose it depends how much money Tobi wanted and also how much extra is paid for flights etc and another years loans fee would have cost compared to possibly someone who might be UK based . Hope Tobi gets fixed up (believe he’ll be riding close to his mechanic Maciej’s base) as he’s a bloody exciting rider to watch
  22. Sheffield sending Tobi to Kings Lynn to get his average down for 2025
